Vijay Varma is one of the most talented actors in the Hindi film industry. The actor has proven his mettle in acting by working in blockbuster films like Darlings, Gully Boy, Lust Stories 2, Pink, Monsoon Shootout, Baaghi 3, Yaara and many more. Off lately, Vijay has been hitting all the headlines for his relationship with actress, Tamannaah Bhatia. For the unversed, the much-in-love couple's paths crossed on the sets of their film, Lust Stories 2. And now, the actor opened up about why he opted to make his relationship public, unlike other celebrities.
In a recent conversation with the Hindustan Times, Vijay Varma opened up about his life, career and love life. On being asked why he chose to make his relationship with his girlfriend, Tamannaah Bhatia public, the actor responded beautifully. Answering why he and his ladylove, Tamannaah didn't opt for the 'we are just good friends' stance, Vijay said:
"I love the song ‘Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya’ from Mughal-e-Azam."

Earlier, in one of his interviews with the Indian Express, Vijay had opened up about his relationship with Tamannaah. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned that his relationship with Tamannaah is a humbling one. Vijay further added that he has been receiving a lot of attention because of his relationship status and it was a bit uncomfortable for him. Elaborating more about it, he said:
"First of all, it’s news to me that we are one of the most sought-after couples. It’s very humbling and very nice, but I wasn’t used to it when it first happened. I was very used to roaming around on my own. We go out together and we tend to get a lot of attention… I am not particularly comfortable but I am just trying to get used to it."
In an interview with Film Companion, Vijay had revealed that he never wanted to date a person from the film industry. Elaborating more about it, Vijay stated that he was quite angry with the industry, therefore, he never thought he would be able to get into a relationship with an actress. Vijay added that his thoughts changed after he met Tamannaah. Elaborating more on it, the actor mentioned that when he started dating Tamannaah, he understood the importance of having someone in life who belongs to the same field.

Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Vijay and Tamannaah had shared some anecdotes from their relationship. When asked about the most annoying quality of his ladylove, Tamannaah, the actor shared that she is obsessed with working out and she even sleeps less to hit the gym. Vijay added that he often tells Tamannaah that having a correct sleep cycle is important for a better lifestyle, but she never listens to him.
