Once in a candid conversation with Ramesh on his show, Weekend, Vijay Raghavendra and his wife, Spandana opened up about their love story. The couple shared that their marriage was an arranged one. Throwing more light on the same, Vijay revealed that it was love at first sight for him.
The doting husband, Vijay Raghavendra mentioned that he met Spandana on a coffee meeting and fell in love with her. However, he couldn’t gather the courage to share his feelings with her.
However, after some time, they met once again on a coffee date, and this time he took the chance and proposed to her for marriage. Spandana accepted his proposal, and both of them went to their respective families and told them about their will to get married.
Both families agreed, and it was on August 26, 2007, when Vijay Raghavendra and Spandana got married in a traditional wedding ceremony. After their marriage, Vijay and Spandana never missed a chance to drop cutesy pictures from their happy married life. Not only this, Spandana even started accompanying her husband to award functions and movie events. Slowly, they became one of the most-loved couples in Sandalwood.

After some years of their marriage, it was in 2010 when Vijay Raghavendra and Spandana became parents for the first time after the latter gave birth to a baby boy. The couple was on cloud nine when they embraced parenthood and chose the name ‘Shourya’ for their son.
