Varun Dhawan has made a name for himself in the Indian entertainment industry ever since he stepped into it. He debuted with Student Of The Year in 2012 and rose to popularity with his consecutive projects. While he has been the lead actor in various commercially successful films, Varun’s role in the 2015 film, Badlapur, and the 2018 film, October, garnered him much appreciation for his impeccable acting skills. The actor is reportedly one of the highest-paid actors in India. Varun is equally happy in his personal life. The actor is married to his childhood friend, Natasha Dalal, and the two are soon going to become parents.

When Varun Dhawan had a hilarious response to a question on parenthood

In one of his previous interviews, Varun had once shared his thoughts on embracing parenthood. Last year, the Bhediya actor attended an event with Alia Bhatt in Mumbai. Both the Bollywood celebs were asked questions pertaining to their personal lives. Alia happily obliged and shared her experience of embracing motherhood with the arrival of her daughter, Raha. Varun, on the other hand, had a humorous answer to the question related to embracing parenthood. He said:

“She (Alia) has become a mother, and you have become a father, so should all of us start having babies? I will discuss it with my wife and tell her that you have said this, and we should start planning from today.”

Varun Dhawan announced that he is expecting his first child with Natasha Dalal

Varun Dhawan took to his official Instagram account on February 18, 2024, to announce that he and his wife, Natasha Dalal, are expecting their first child. The Bollywood actor posted a monochrome picture of him giving a sweet peck of love to his wife’s growing baby bump. In the picture, the actor was seen kneeling down, and Natasha, on the other hand, flaunted her baby bump in a white bodycon dress alongside their fur baby, Joey. Varun captioned the post as: 

“We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and love.”

As soon as Varun dropped the good news on this Instagram account, celebrities started penning down their heartfelt congratulations for the two. Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Wohooo congratulations my friends.” The soon bride-to-be, Rakul Preet Singh said, “Congratulationsssss u both, so so so happpy.” Kareena Kapoor Khan congratulated the couple by saying, “Best feeling in the world.” And thousands of Varun Dhawan’s fans wished him the best in this new phase of his life.

Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s first public appearance after their pregnancy announcement

On February 19, 2024, just a day after announcing the good news to the public, Varun and Natasha made their first appearance. The duo was photographed at Mumbai airport as they were headed to Goa for Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding. Varun was dressed in a casual blue T-shirt and pants. Meanwhile, his pregnant wifey was seen donning a beige blazer and wide-legged pants paired with a black tank top.

On the professional front, Varun Dhawan was last seen with Janhvi Kapoor in the film, Bawaal. He will be next seen in Baby John, which is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film, Theri. Varun will also be seen in the Indian edition of the Russo Brothers’ popular web series, Citadel, alongside the South Indian actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
