Actress and social media sensation, Uorfi Javed has been grabbing attention with her fashion choices and unconventional outfits. Every time Uorfi is spotted in public, her small stints and bizarre fashion statements always catch everyone’s attention. Uorfi, who is known for creating extraordinary looks and flaunting them like a boss, recently shot for a magazine cover with ace stylist, Anaita Shroff Adajania. 

Anaita Shroff Adjania hails Uorfi Javed as the 'undisputed queen of DIY'

On February 24, 2023, Anaita Shroff Adjania took to her Instagram handle to share a photo of Uorfi Javed from her recent cover photoshoot for Dirty Magazine. Along with the picture, Anaita penned a long note about how designers would refuse to dress Uorfi and heaped praises on her. Called the actress the 'undisputed queen of DIY', Anaita penned:

"What better than a custom DIY (do it yourself) look for the undisputed queen of DIY Uorfi Javed! I’ve long admired her love for fashion and her tenacity to follow her passion. It broke my heart, when designers refused to dress her, but undeterred she set up her own workshop and created her interpretations daily!"

Indeed it's a great milestone for Uorfi Javed, who is now the cover girl for a leading magazine. Lauding Uorfi's fashion sense, further in her note, Anaita Shroff Adjania mentioned that she had promised Uorfi that this day would come. The stylist further shared some details about Uorfi's look for the photoshoot and wrote:

"Fashion is for everyone. I promised you this day would come, Covergirl Uorfi! Today for the Dirty magazine she wears some of the most creative labels, custom-made for her. I’m sure more will follow! For this look, it’s a toile (where all the magic begins...) and stickers! DIY baby. Thanks, @kshitijkankaria @anuragsharma91 @otherwarya for letting me be a small piece of this giant project, dream teams make dreams come true..."

Uorfi Javed's career

Uorfi Javed gained a lot of recognition after her stint on the controversial show, Bigg Boss OTT in 2021. Before this, Uorfi was also a part of several TV shows such as Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania, Meri Durga, Bepannaah and others. She was also seen in the OTT web series, Puncch Beat Season 2, which streamed on ALT Balaji.

Uorfi Javed's early life

Once in an interview with SpotboyE, Urfi Javed talked about her struggling phase and shared the ordeals of her initial days in the glamour world. Recalling how she used to sleep in parks since she had no home, the actress shared that she used to sleep with no quilts in chilly winters. Uorfi also mentioned that she is proud of herself for not giving up even though there were so many times when she wanted to quit and kill herself. However, she added that now she feels blessed and grateful as she has everything.  


On the work front, Uorfi Javed is currently in the news for bagging the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
