Every sister-to-sister bond is special and different. Despite these different equations between sisters, they never miss a chance to confide in each other. And our B-town has a lot of celebrity actresses, who share a very warm bond with their sisters. And actress, Twinkle Khanna is one of them.
Just like any other sisters' duo, actress, Twinkle Khanna and her sister, Rinke Khanna also share a very close-knit bond. For the uninitiated, Rinke is the youngest daughter of the veteran actor, Rajesh Khanna and his actress-wife, Dimple Kapadia. And just like any other elder sister, Twinkle loves her younger sister and the duo share a very good bond.
A few hours ago, Twinkle Khanna took to her IG handle to express her heartmelting feelings for her younger sister, Rinke Khanna. The actress-turned-author recollected how her sister is the only one, who can make her laugh in the most difficult times. Sharing a picture of Rinke Khanna, the doting sister, wrote, "Happy birthday Rinkston! Here’s to someone who can make me laugh at the most sombre moments."
Going further in her note, Twinkle also wrote that a sister like Rinke is not manufactured anymore. She added in the caption, "The last lot of Rinkes was manufactured in the seventies and they have clearly lost the mould, because they don’t make sisters like you anymore. Since you eat cheese, unlike me, I thought I would slather some onto your birthday greeting as well #birthdaygirl."
On July 25, 2021, Twinkle Khanna had taken a trip down the memory lane and had shared a picture on her IG handle with her late aunt, Simple Kapadia and sister, Rinke Khanna. Sharing the monochrome picture from their childhood, Twinkle had written, "Nostalgia is akin to the red and white Phantom cigarettes of our childhood. Like all sugary treats, it may prove detrimental as a daily habit, but it could provide occasional respite."
In her note of reminiscing the good old days, Twinkle had also talked about how it felt to be loved and safe. She had added, "A way of transporting ourselves to a time when we felt loved and safe, and sometimes, oh so cool, as we inhaled the minty smell of a candy-stick held between our lips. Nostalgia reminds us of not just how we lived, but what it was like to thrive.”
Here's wishing Rinke Khanna a very happy birthday!
