Swathi Reddy has been grabbing all the limelight recently after she apparently deleted all her wedding pictures from her social media handles. For the unversed, Swathi tied the knot with the love of her life, Vikas Vasu in 2018. Swathi had dated Vikas, who is a pilot by profession for a long time before entering the nuptial bliss. However, after Swathi removed from her social media handle all of her wedding pictures, it made everyone speculate about an impending divorce for their 5-year-long marital journey.
In a recent interview with the Hyderabad Times, Swathi threw some light over the buzz about her personal life and clarified a few things. When being asked if her deleted wedding pictures from her social media handle had anything to do about the probable troubles in her marriage, Swathi clearly mentioned that she does not have anything to say about it at the moment. Moreover, she highlighted that she will come out with it, whenever she wants to. In her words:
“I don’t have anything to say. When I do, I’ll do it myself.”

Interestingly, this was not the first time that the news about Swathi and Vikas heading for a divorce had been debated about. Back in 2020, merely two years after their wedding, Swathi had archived all pictures with her husband, Vikas on her social media handle. However, the eagle-eyed netizens were quick to note the change and concluded that there was surely some trouble in their marriage. It was even more buzzed about, when Swathi also deleted her own account. It was quite later that the actress had issued a clarification about her action and mentioned she simply wanted to declutter her profile and create a balance between her public image and personal life.
For the unversed, Swathi and Vikas’s love story had kickstarted when the duo were introduced to one another through a common friend. While Vikas was totally bowled over Swathi in their first meet itself, it was the latter who ensured to keep a safe distance between themselves. Vikas, who is a pilot for the Malaysian Airlines and is based out of Indonesia, gradually was able to turn their relationship into something what he always desired, and after a point, Swathi, too had to give in to her feelings.

Much like their relationship which they managed to keep under wraps for the longest time, the lovebirds also kept their wedding equally secretive and intimate. Under the presence and blessings of their close family and friends, Vikas and Swathi tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad on August 30, 2018. Later, they arranged for a grand reception party at the Cochin Club Yacht, Kochi.
