The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, had won the hearts of millions of people by proving his mettle in acting. Moreover, what had inspired many, was the fact that a person from a non-film background can also rule the industry. Following the footsteps of her father, Shah Rukh's daughter, Suhana Khan, is all ready to make her debut in Bollywood.
Despite the fact that Suhana Khan has not yet made her acting career in Bollywood, this star kid enjoys a massive fan base and has 2M followers on her Instagram handle. Not only that, every time this fashionista drops a picture on her social media account, it is sure to go viral. Netizens also adore the star kid's bonding with her father. And now, the daddy's little girl is not so little anymore as she is going to get launched in movies.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Suhana Khan is all set to be launched as an actress soon. And it is none other than the talented director, Zoya Akhtar, who has taken up the responsibility of launching this star-kid in her directorial based on Archie comics. Fans have eagerly waited for Suhana to make her debut, and finally, it is going to happen very soon.
The report also suggested that Zoya Akhtar has found one of her central characters in Suhana Khan. Zoya is working on the Indian adaptation of the international comic book, Archie for the streaming platform, Netflix. It is said, "It’s a teenage story and she has been on the lookout to get multiple young actors on board to play a bunch of friends. While casting is still underway, she has found one of her central characters in Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana."
Though Suhana Khan has worked in a few short films earlier, Archie would mark her official entry into the entertainment industry. A source close to the development revealed that the final papers would be signed once Suhana and Shah Rukh are okay with the script. Stating the same, the source said, "It's in the nascent stage at the moment, and the final paper work will be done once Suhana and her father, Shah Rukh Khan okay the bound script for launch."
In an earlier interview with Vogue, Suhana had once talked about her plans of making a career in acting and had revealed the first time when her parents had discovered her knack for the same. She had said, "I don’t think there was any one moment when I decided. Since I was young, I’d do all these accents and impressions. But my parents only realised I was serious about acting when they saw a performance of mine for the first time. I was playing Miranda in a school performance of The Tempest.”
For the unversed, Suhana Khan is completing her film studies at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University.
