Zoya Akhtar’s movie, The Archies is slated to hit the silver screens on December 7, 2023. For the unversed, the movie will mark the debut of some of the popular star kids in B-town, such as SRK's daughter, Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Khushi Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda among others. However, on August 29, 2023, the cast of the movie gathered on Mumbai's highway to announce its release date. The star-studded cast can be seen announcing the release of their debut movie through a live billboard that features a countdown timer, which tracks the number of days left before the release of the movie.
To announce the release date of Zoya Akhtar’s movie, the cast of the same was seen on Mumbai's Western Express Highway. From Suhana Khan to Khushi Kapoor, each one of the star cast exuded some major fashion goals with their unique way of announcing the release of their upcoming film. Suhana Khan looked glamorous as she slipped into a grey cropped top, which she teamed with denim pants.

Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, looked pretty in a grey sweatshirt and trousers. Big B's grandson, Agastya Nanda looked handsome in a white t-shirt and matching pants, which he teamed with a denim jacket. The other members, Vedang, Mihir and Yuvraj looked handsome in their causal OOTD, while Aditi looked hot in a white-red checkered crop top, which she paired with black pants and a grey jacket. In a nutshell, the whole cast of The Archies shed some uber-cool vibes with their casual OOTD.

The video of the same has been going viral online, and netizens have been showering love upon the same. However, a certain section of internet users remained unimpressed about the same, and they named this unique way of announcing film releases on the busy streets 'Idiotic'. The video of the same was shared on the discussion platform, Reddit with a caption that can be read as:
"The cast of The Archies movie blocked a major busy arterial highway in Mumbai just to shoot this dumb promo. I hope this doesn't quickly become a trend where celebs start inconveniencing the regular public for their reels."
As soon as the video was shared on Reddit, netizens started bombarding the comment section with their opinions. A user took to the comment section and wrote, "This group is the most tone deaf talentless, and clueless." Another user took a dig at the star kids and wrote, "Idiots... what's more surprising is that half of them have gotten projects with big directors already even without seeing whether Archies is success or not."

A third comment can be read as "So much of fake excitement for useless PR. Every one of them must have gone back to straight face and into their mobile after the cut. Also it was not the cast it was the marketing team Also they must have gotten permission from the police to shoot it. So the inconvenience is not because of them... They are not that smart."
