Actress-turned-social activist, Somy Ali's relationship rumours with Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan are known to all. For the unversed, Somy and Salman worked together in the 1992 film, Buland, however, it never made it to the theatres. And as per reports, Somy allegedly broke up with Salman after facing brutal abuse. Recently, a post from her account went viral, mentioning she called Salman and his father, Salim Khan - 'abusers'. But now, she claimed that her social media handle was hacked and penned about the same.
A few days back, a monochrome throwback picture of Somy Ali was shared from her Instagram handle. In the picture, Somy looked stunning in her younger self. Along with this, a cryptic note was written that talked about some nasty things about Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan. The note can be read as:
"You took it all and still you thrive @salmankhan for taking it all from a 16 year old child. You are disgusting just like your father who abused your mother for years. And you #pu**y @beimgsalmankhan couldn’t even protect your mother. Sadly to watch your mother being abused as a kid and then have your father as your idol. You dumb illiterate asshole. You beat, Shaheen, Sangeeta, somy, and many more. Katrina even called me when I was in my master program. I will let my autobiography say it all. As for you Oldman, it’s over for because you didn’t to my namaaz and my@mannat. Allah literally hates you for forcing me to kill Sukoon. At 17….”

Now, Somy Ali has issued a clarification about her previous post and revealed that her Instagram account was hacked. Although, her statement came after the now-deleted post slamming her ex-boyfriend, Salman Khan, the new post mentioned:
"I have not posted anything derogatory. My most recent post was a celebration of Ganpati, a festival I cherish. I was missing the festivities and decided to share my sentiments online after observing the fervor of Ganpati celebrations across social media platforms. Unfortunately, my Instagram account has been compromised on several occasions, so this incident doesn't come as a surprise. I have taken immediate action by changing all my passwords to secure my account further."
Further, Somy mentioned that she would never engage in such behaviour as she understands the importance of a positive online presence. She also mentioned how, in today's world, anyone can easily become the victim of getting hacked and said that she has faced this in the past a couple of times. She added:
"I would never engage in behavior that could harm the reputation of my organisation or myself. While I understand that some may find it difficult to believe, hacking social media accounts is unfortunately a common occurrence in today's digital landscape. Anyone who is internet-savvy knows how easily it can happen. I appreciate the support and understanding of those who know me and understand my commitment to respecting all individuals."

For the uninitiated, Somy and Salman were in a relationship from 1991 to 1999. Before this, Salman was in a long-term relationship with Sangeeta Bijlani, reportedly from 1986-1994. They were on the verge of getting engaged, but things went sour between them, and they parted ways. In an old interview with Aaj Tak, Somy reportedly stated that Salman cheated on Sangeeta with her. Sharing more details about the same, Somy mentioned that the wedding cards of Salman and Sangeeta were printed, and during that time, the latter caught the actor red-handed with her. Somy also added how Salman did the same thing with her and called it 'karma'.
