Soha shared that her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was super angry. However, Soha didn't care much. She was quoted as saying:

"The Bengali film was good; the first Hindi film, not so good. I remember the first review that came out in one of the papers was that ‘she looks like her mother, but acts like her father’. My father was the one who was the most offended by it, because he was like, ‘What does this mean?'"

When Soha Ali Khan revealed Saif Ali Khan was terrified as he thought their parents' would blame him for her decision to join the films

Soha Ali Khan is the youngest child in her family, and hence, her family has always been protective of her. The actress was excellent in her studies, which is why her mother, Sharmila Tagore never wanted her to work in films. In an interview with the IANS, Soha Ali Khan revealed that she had gone against her parents' decision to join the film industry, and it was her brother, Saif Ali Khan, who was terrified.

Before Soha entered films, Saif was already living in Mumbai and was a famous star. Her brother, Saif was scared that their parents would blame him as she started living with him. Soha was quoted as saying:

"Saif said, ‘Parents will now blame me because you came and lived with me in Mumbai, you had a perfectly decent job in a bank, and it’s my influence. And you better explain to them that it is your choice!' Which I did."
