After this, Raj Kundra stayed away from the media and stopped posing for them. In fact, he used a mask to hide his face from the paps. Recently, a video went viral, wherein Raj Kundra talked about partying with his saali, Shamita Shetty after his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra would sleep.
Recently, a video of The Kapil Sharma Show making rounds on the internet from 2016, when Raj Kundra made an appearance with his wife, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her sister, Shamita Shetty Kundra. In the clip, Raj Kundra accepted that he got a lot of benefits after marrying Shilpa Shetty. He added that she would sleep at nine, and when he felt like partying, he would call his sister-in-law, Shamita Shetty.

In the same video, Raj Kundra added that this is one of the reasons why he is not forcing Shamita to get married. Raj Kundra was quoted as saying:
"Mera bahut faiyda hua hai. Jab inse shaadi ki toh yeh badi gharelu, homely, 9 baje ke baad so jana, kahin bahar nahi jana. Toh sometimes I would like to party. Toh mai phone karta tha saali ko, 'Friday night let's party'. Saali bolti thi chalo kabhi mana nahi karti thi. Mujhe party karni hoti hai toh saali yaad. Jab ghar par book padhna hota hai kapil Sharma show dekhna hota hai toh madam ke saath. Toh mere pass two-in0ne hai. Tabhi mai iski shaadi jada push nai kar raha."
As soon as the video went viral, netizens flooded the comment section. One user wrote, "Isliye Aaj mask lagake ghumna pad raha. Kahi muh dikhane k layak nahi rahe." Another commented, "Tbi ye shadi nhi ker rhi isi sey kregi."

Last year, a Twitter user asked Raj whether his marriage with Shilpa Shetty is a staged act. The user had written, "Are you & Shilpa still together or it’s a staged act?" To this, Raj replied in his own unique style. He shared that love is no act and cannot be staged. He also announced that they will celebrate their thirteenth wedding anniversary in a few days. Raj tweeted:
"Haha love this question. Love is no act and cannot be staged. 13th year anniversary on 22nd November don’t forget to wish us."
