Shilpa Shetty is one of the most stunning actresses of her time. Besides that, she is also an extremely loving and supportive wife to her husband, Raj Kundra and a doting mommy to their kids, Viaan and Samisha. Thus, on the auspicious occasion of Navratri and Durga puja, Shilpa and her husband, Raj performed Kanya puja with their daughter, Samisha. Moreover, the actress dropped a video of the ritual, and glimpses from the same are simply unmissable.
For the unversed, Kanya puja is a Hindi ritual, wherein little girls are decked up as Maa Durga and are worshipped on the auspicious days of Navratri and Durga puja. Taking to her IG handle, on Mahashtami, i.e., on October 22, 2023, Shilpa Shetty shared a beautiful video from her daughter, Samisha's Kanya puja ritual. At the beginning of the video, Shilpa and Raj can be seen washing the little feet of their baby girl, while she was seated, and her innocent smile melted our hearts. Afterwards, the doting parents were also seen decking her up with vermilion, a red dupatta and flowers.

For the ritual, Samisha looked cute in a lavender-hued chikankari kurta paired with white pants. As the video progressed, Shilpa was also seen doing aarti of both of her kids. Afterwards, as the ritual ended, Viaan was spotted cuddling his baby sister, Samisha, and the moment was simply priceless. Sharing it, Shilpa wrote:
"Jay Mata Di. On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami today, we performed the Kanya puja with our very own DEVI, Samisha. Our way of paying gratitude to the Supreme Goddess Maha Gauri today and her nine divine forms."

Taking to her IG handle, on September 19, 2023, Shilpa posted a picture from her home's intimate Ganpati puja. In the family portrait, Shilpa looked stunning in a cream-hued saree which featured yellow tassels at the border. She draped her saree in the Maharashtrian style and looked gorgeous. On the other hand, Viaan was seen twinning with his father in a cream-hued kurta paired with an embroidered jacket and white pants. However, it was Shilpa’s daughter, Samisha’s goofy expression, that was too cute to miss. The baby girl was seen showing her tongue while they were candidly clicked.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shilpa talked about her parenting style. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned why she and her husband, Raj spend a lot of time with their kids, Viaan and Samisha. The actress shared that during her childhood, she spent time with her parents only on weekends as they were working. Thus, she finds it extremely important that whenever she gets an opportunity to spend some quality time with Viaan and Samisha, she never misses that.
