Bollywood actress, Shamita Shetty is the sister of the gorgeous diva, Shilpa Shetty. The stunning sisters never miss a chance to grab eyeballs with their work and sartorial fashion sense. Coming to Shamita's personal life, she also often hits the headlines for her relationship rumours. Recently, she was alleged with popular actor, Aamir Ali after being spotted together at various parties. And even after they reacted strongly to it, netizens didn't stop pairing them. Now, in an interview, Shamita Shetty opened up about her sister, Shilpa Shetty's teachings, society's pressure to settle down and why her father had once stopped talking to her!
In an interview with ZoomTV, Shamita Shetty revealed that after her kissing scene with Uday Chopra in the film, Mohabbatein, her father didn't talk to her for almost a month. Though, gradually with the passage of time, her father understood her as those intimate scenes became more common in the entertainment industry. But being extremely close to her father, she was quite upset the entire time her father didn't talk to her.

Afterwards, Shamita was asked how she handles social media trolling and excessive negativity. To this, Shamita promptly answered that she completely ignored them. However, she also sometimes checks the comments who constantly robe in her posts and pen down mean comments. Talking about one such instance, Shamita shared how people constantly mentioned that she should get married as she attained a certain age and that she should stop working and settle down.
Explaining this, Shamita shared a valuable lesson, her darling sister, Shilpa Shetty had taught her. Elaborating it, Shamita said that Shilpa asked her at the initial period of her career when the former was all set to become an actress that 'Never explain, never complain.' And Shamita follows this valuable piece of teaching throughout her life.

At the end of the conversation, Shamita was asked about one such rumour, which makes her laugh. To this, Shamita mentioned her 'every so-called affair', and added, 'moving on swiftly.' She was also asked about her relationship status, to which she was quick to answer that she is 'single' and concluded by saying that her way to heart is 'kindness and sense of humour'.
