Shaheer Sheikh is the heartthrob of television, whom for once almost every girl has given her heart to. While many of us were gushing over his cute looks and heartmelting smile, his heart was beating faster for someone, who was in front of us but yet out of sight. Yes, we are talking about the Creative Producer & Executive Vice President at Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures Limited, Ruchikaa Kapoor, who stole Shaheer’s heart, while we were oblivious. It was Shaheer’s “Never mind it’s my girl...” post on his IG handle that had almost confirmed their relationship and now, it’s been 5 months to their wedding.

It was on November 27, 2020, that Ruchikaa had taken to her IG handle and had shared a cute picture from their wedding with her husband, Shaheer after the pictures from the same had hit the headlines. In the picture, the newlyweds could be seen laughing and had looked very much in love. While Ruchikaa had donned a blue suit, the handsome groom had sported a white kurta-pyjama and had perfectly complimented his bride. Ruchikaa Kapoor had captioned the picture as "Off on an adventure called Forever. #HappilyEverAfter #ForeverPerson #Ikigai #theGirlwithcurls #MadMeNow." Shaheer Sheikh had also posted a beautiful picture with his wifey, Ruchikaa Kapoor and had written, "Zindagi khatm bhi ho jaaye agar... Na kabhi khatm ho ulfat ka safar. #chaloDildarChalo. #ikigai."
Shaheer and Ruchikaa are living their happily-ever-after together and it was Shaheer's first birthday post-wedding on March 26, 2021. While we were waiting for Ruchikaa to pen a birthday wish for her husband, we were in awe of the post, Shaheer dropped on his birthday. Taking to his IG handle, Shaheer posted a childhood picture with his mother, where she can be seen holding him in her arms as he donned a blue coloured frock with a frill cap. Sharing the cutesy picture, Shaheer mentioned that he feels that his mother wanted a girl when he was born. He wrote, “I guess my mom wanted a girl.. that’s me in the frock.”
As it was Shaheer’s birthday, the cutest birthday wish had come for him from his wife, Ruchikaa Kapoor’s BFF, Ekta Kapoor. On March 26, 2021, Shaheer had turned a year older and his mentor and his wife’s best friend, Ekta Kapoor had penned a lovely birthday note for him. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture with Shaheer and Ruchikaa. Along with it, she had written, "Happie bday jeejajeee."

Coming back to Shaheer and Ruchikaa’s love story, on November 24, 2020, Shaheer had taken to his IG handle to announce the news of his engagement with Ruchikaa Kapoor. He had shared an adorable picture with Ruchikaa, where he could be seen holding her hand while she had laughed her heart out flaunting her ring. Along with the beautiful picture, Shaheer had penned his excitement and it could be read as “#TuHasdiRave excited for the rest of my life... #ikigai.”
Post-wedding, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Shaheer had stated that he had found his right companion in Ruchikaa Kapoor and he is looking forward to his life with her. He had said, "Ruchikaa is honest when it comes to her feelings. The best part about our relationship is that we are friends first. Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I've always said that I'm a 'wanderer' and I've finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her."
