As much of a boon social media is, it is a bane too! Not just celebrities, their kids also become a target of trolls every now and then. Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar, who is a social media sensation, was called out by a troll recently, and the star-kid gave a befitting reply to that netizen. Sara is an ardent social media user, who loves giving glimpses of her personal life and post lovely pictures with her parents, Sachin and Anjali Tendulkar and her brother, Arjun Tendulkar. Sara was born to Sachin and Anjali in 1997.
More than her sartorial picks and glimpses of her personal life on social media, Sara Tendulkar rules the headlines for her rumoured affair with Kolkata Knight Riders' player, Shubman Gill. During the Kolkata Knight Riders v/s Mumbai Indians match in September 2020, Sara had cheered for her 'favourite' player, Shubman. Though KKR had lost the match, Shubman was sublime on the field. And impressed by his fielding efforts, Sara captured Shubman's fielding on camera and posted it as her IG story with heart GIFs. Sara’s IG story for Shubman had fuelled their dating rumours.
Just like her regular posts giving a glimpse of her real-life, Sara Tendulkar posted an IG story of beating the heat with her cup of Blue Tokai coffee. Sara wrote, "@Bluetokaicoffee saves lives" atop it. A netizen replied to Sara's story, trolling her for wasting her father's money. Sara posted a screenshot of the same on her IG story and schooled her for commenting with a discomforting remark. Tagging the girl, Sara wrote, "Ummm… Any money spent on caffeine is money well spent, not wasted LOL (whoever’s it may be)" atop the screenshot.
At the Indian Premier League 2021 auction, Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, who is an all-rounder, was bought by Mumbai Indians and this is the first time that junior Tendulkar is playing for the series. After a successful bid of Rs 20 lakh, Arjun was taken by Mumbai Indians and his sister, Sara Tendulkar expressed how proud she is of him. Sara posted two IG stories and had written, "Nobody can take this achievement away from you. It is yours" and "Proud of You" atop it. While Arjun's selection in the Mumbai Indians team made his family proud, some netizens criticised it and called it an act of nepotism. Here's how the netizens reacted:
To mark Sara Tendulkar's 23rd birthday on October 12, 2020, her brother, Arjun Tendulkar posted a childhood picture to wish her on social media. Arjun posted an adorable picture with Sara from one of their vacations, and it was all about brother-sister love. Arjun had written, “Happy birthday @saratendulkar” followed by a heart emoticon. In September 2020, when Arjun turned 21, Sara posted two pictures, one from their childhood and a recent selfie, to wish him on his birthday. Sara had written, "Can't believe you are 21. Happy birthday @arjuntendulkar21" and "Love you more than anything" atop her IG stories.
When, in 2018, Sara Tendulkar had completed her graduation from the University College of London, her father and former Indian cricket team's captain, Sachin Tendulkar was beaming with pride. Sharing pictures of and with his not-so-little-baby-girl-anymore, Sachin had tweeted, "It feels like just yesterday when you left home for @ucl, and now you are a Graduate. Anjali and I are so proud of you! May you go out and conquer the world Sara." Sara had also posted a few pictures on her IG handle with the caption, "I did what?"
It is commendable how politely Sara dealt with the troll!
