Popular actress, Sana Khan, who quit showbiz in October 2020, has now started a new chapter of her life. For the unversed, the former actress embraced motherhood as she gave birth to her first child on July 5, 2023, and delighted her fans with the 'good news'. Sana and her husband, Mufti Anas are beaming with happiness, and the couple has named their baby boy, Saiyad Tariq Jamil. Currently, Sana Khan is busy fulfilling her mommy duties with her little one.
On July 11, 2023, Sana Khan took to her IG handle and shared the first-ever glimpse of her baby boy, Tariq. The newbie mommy dropped a super cute video of her son, who looked the cutest in a grey-hued t-shirt which had 'Mummy and Me' written on it. The baby boy was seen happily playing with his mommy while holding her finger with his hand. Sharing the video, atop it, Sana penned:
"Hamara beta."

As soon as Sana dropped the super cute video of her precious time with her newborn, her husband, Anas was quick to react. The newbie daddy took to his IG handle and reshared Sana's video and atop it, penned:
"MaashaAllah TabrkaAllah. Mera Betaa Aur Mere Zindagi @sanakhaan21."
On July 12, 2023, Sana Khan also dropped a beautiful post to announce the name of her newborn son on her IG handle. She shared a video expressing her emotions about welcoming a baby boy into her life and revealed that she and Anas have named their son, Tariq Jamil. Sharing the significance of the name, Sana penned:
"Humne apney bete ka Naam rakha hai, Tariq Jamil. Meaning of Tariq: Subah ka tara raat me aney Wala. Jameel: Khoobsurat. Allah humarey bete ko islam ka khoobsurat chiragh banaye jo islam ko noor ki tara philaye."

Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Sana Khan opened up about her wish to lose pregnancy weight and shared how she gets paranoid when people talk about weight loss after pregnancy. Mentioning that losing weight is not more important than enjoying motherhood, the new mommy shared that she would rather promote the idea of being healthy. She said:
"I get so paranoid when people talk about weight loss after pregnancy. Of course, everyone wants to lose weight, and so do I, but not at the cost of compromising on my health or or not eating what’s required for my child’s growth. A new mother s houldn’t be made to believe that losing weight is more important than enjoying motherhood. I would rather promote the idea of being healthy."

It was on July 5, 2023, when Sana Khan took to her Instagram handle and delighted her fans with the news of her baby's arrival. The new mommy posted a cute video to announce the arrival of her son, wherein she gave a glimpse of her newborn's tiny hands. In the video, the newbie parents, Sana and Anas penned a heartfelt note and thanked God for blessing them with a baby boy. The note could be read as:
"Allah tala ne mukaddar mai likha phir usko pura kiya aur asaan kiya, Aur jab allah deta hai toh khush aur musarra ke saath deta hai. Toh Allah tala ne hame beta diya."
