The Pataudi siblings, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan's lesser-known sibling, Saba Ali Khan's social media handle is a gamut of precious memories of the royal family. One glance at Saba's IG profile, and you'll see it is filled with throwback pictures of the royal family's lovely moments. Now, Saba has shared several unseen pictures of her parents, Sharmila Tagore and MAK Pataudi.
For the uninitiated, Saba Ali Khan is a jewellery designer by profession and the mutawalli (Chief Trustee) of the Auqaf-e-Shahi (Royal Trust) established by Bhopal's princely state as a royal charitable endowment. Saba is 45 and single and has no plans of marriage anytime soon.
On April 5, 2021, Saba Ali Khan took to her IG handle and shared several unseen pictures of her parents from the archives. The first one is a throwback picture of her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, from the cricket field. The Pataudi prince can be seen swinging his bat in the candid click. The second picture also featured the great cricketer, sitting and posing for the camera. The third picture has baby Soha with her father, while the fourth picture is Saba's favourite 'mother-daughter' moment with her mom, Sharmila ji.

On March 4, 2021, Saba had taken to her Instagram handle and had remembered her parents, Sharmila ji and Mansoor ji's wedding day. Sharing the monochrome wedding picture, Saba had written, "Remembrance! Parents Wedding day. A wedding. I definitely didn't attend! But I wish I had Mahshallah."
Talking about MAK Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore's love story, while he was the uncrowned emperor of Indian cricket, she was the queen of Bollywood. They were complete opposites of each other, ruling their own kingdoms, but they had felt the instant connection when they had met for the first time in the year 1965. While they were madly in love with each other, they had to face a lot of difficulties as they were from different religions. The duo had gotten married in the year 1969.
Sharmila ji had once talked about her husband, Mansoor ji's biopic in an interview with Free Press Journal. She had said, "Well it will depend on who the captains of the ship are – the producers and director. It is a good story, I think, with all the twists and the turns in his life….father’s death, losing his eye after which his average came down from 60 to 30.To receive such a blow at such a young age….I don’t think anyone else has been able to make those adjustments and that kind of an impact with one eye. He not only batted but also fielded after the eye accident. I think he was a wonderful sportsperson. God knows, what he’d have achieved if he had both his eyes."
Saba Ali Khan’s social media handle is evident of her love and admiration for her family including her father, late Mansoor Ali Khan, mother, Sharmila Tagore, siblings, Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kunal Kemmu and nieces and nephews, Sara Ali Khan, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan. To mark New Year 2021, Saba had posted a collage of pictures that had included her special moments with her family. She had captioned it as “Missed family the MOST in 2020. Wishing everyone a safe and suuupppaaaah 2021!”
