Ever since Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had announced their pregnancy in August 2020, their fans have been waiting for the month of February to arrive soon so that they can celebrate the arrival of Taimur Ali Khan’s sibling. Just like her first pregnancy, Kareena is working chock-a-block and once again, she became an inspiration for the expecting mothers out there, proving that marriage or motherhood doesn’t end a woman’s professional life. As much inspiring was Kareena’s fashion statements in both her pregnancies, she is as inspiring as her a person herself. A few weeks ago, Saif had informed that Kareena is due in February and a couple of days ago, her father, Randhir Kapoor had confirmed her delivery to be around February 15. To ring in Randhir Kapoor’s birthday on February 15, 2021, Babita, Neetu Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and other family members had partied till midnight. Soon-to-be a second-time mother, Kareena had made heads turn in a beautiful green-coloured floral printed kurti with kolhapuri chappals and her ninth-month baby bump accentuating her look.
February 15 came and went by, but no news of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s second baby. The anticipation is making the wait for her fans harder and not just us, even Saif’s sister, Saba Ali Khan is super-excited for her brother to become a ‘Quadfather’. Expressing her excitement and beginning the countdown of her bhabhi, Kareena’s delivery, Saba posted a collage with a picture of Saif and a couple of photos of the family-of-three. Saba wrote, “The Quadfather” atop her IG story and added a 3-2-1 countdown GIF.
When Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had announced their second pregnancy, his sister, Soha Ali Khan had congratulated her bhai and bhabhi in a quirky post. Posting a picture of Saif with ‘The Quadfather’ written on it, Soha had captioned the post as "The Quadfather. Couldn't resist! Congratulations Kareena Kapoor. Be safe and healthy and radiant as ever." In the comments section, Ibrahim had written, “Abba” followed by a fire emoji. The avid social media users, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan love sharing throwback pictures from Pataudi archives and it is nothing but a sheer delight for their fans whenever they take a trip down the memory lane. A few days ago, Saba had posted a lovely throwback picture with her bhabhi jaan, Kareena from Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s 70th birthday bash. In the all-smiling picture, Saba and Kareena had twinned in black as they posed for the camera, flashing their ear-to-ear grin. Saba had captioned the post as “Sister Too...Bhabi..Jaaaaaan!! #sister#in#law#love#you#too #staysafe #stayblessed #stayfit #gotyourback #always#throwback #abba #70th #birthday #decade #ago #timeflies #seeyouagain #SOON.” Kareena had reposted the picture on her IG stories and added ‘Sisterhood’ and ‘Love You’ stickers atop it.
In 2009, at the launch of the jewellery store, Opulence, for which Saba Ali Khan had designed a collection that Soha Ali Khan had showcased on the ramp, the Pataudi sisters had spoken about their family in an interview with HT City. Though Saif Ali Khan and Soha get along really well as they stay in the same city, Saba too, has her special moments with him. Saba had said, “We are very proud of our brother, he has accomplished a lot in his life.” However, Soha had described Saif as “adventurous… giving our parents headaches.” (Also Read: Shamita Shetty Reacts On 'Jiju', Raj Kundra's 'Swayamvar' Demand, Reveals If She Found Her Mr Right)
