Talking about Sushmita's personal life, she was in a romantic relationship with for quite some time with Rohman until she announced their breakup in 2021. Soon after that, Sushmita's mushy pictures with Lalit Modi went viral on social media. However, recently, when she graced a pre-Diwali bash along with Rohman, it seemed that the duo once again made their relationship official.
Taking to his IG handle, on November 19, 2023, Rohman Shawl shared a stunning picture of his girlfriend, Sushmita Sen to wish her a happy birthday. In the photo, she looked ethereal in an embellished saree paired with a blouse with a plunging neckline. Moreover, Sushmita was seen covering her face with a veil. She accessorised her look with a diamond neckpiece and looked gorgeous in total. Sharing Sushmita's scintillating picture, Rohman gave a sweet name to the birthday girl and penned:
"Happy Birthday ‘wonder woman’."

On November 7, 2023, Sushmita Sen and Rohman Shawl were spotted gracing producer, Vishal Gurnani and Juhi Parekh Mehta’s pre-Diwali bash. They were seen holding each other's hands while entering the event venue. Sushmita looked stunning in a black saree with a shimmery border. On the other hand, Rohman opted for a white kurta-pyjama set paired with a green jacket. Afterwards, they also struck a cosy pose for the paps stationed over there, and this way, they made their relationship official.

Even when Rohman and Sushmita parted ways for some time, the actor praised his ladylove in an interview with Radio Mirchi. Rohman showered the gorgeousness with compliments and mentioned that whatever she does, she is amazing, and it is great to be around her. Rohman shared how inspirational Sushmita is that one cannot really fathom the amount of inspiration she throws. Elaborating on the same, Rohman stated:
"You just have to be around her. It’s not like on Instagram, she has that around her, you are in her presence and you feel, ‘so wow."

A few days after Sushmita and Rohman's breakup in December 2021, rumours surfaced on social media that the actress was dating Lalit Modi. For the same, Sushmita also had to face brutal wrath from the netizens. However, within a few months, it was reported that Sushmita and Lalit ended their relationship for the reasons best known to them.
