It was on April 30, 2020, when the Kapoors had announced the news of Rishi Kapoor’s death, leaving their family, friends and the entire nation in disbelief. For us, it was a piece of news that had an everlasting impact, but for his family, this is the hardest truth that they will have to deal with for the rest of their lives. Rishi ji’s daughter, Riddhima and his granddaughter, Samara were in Delhi when he had breathed his last and couldn’t make it to his last rites. Scrolling through our feed, we got hold of an unseen picture of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni when she was probably in her teen days. The picture makes for a perfect family moment as Riddhima can be seen smothered with kisses from Rishi ji and Neetu ji. In a white net outfit with a diamond look mang teeka, Riddhima looked adorable enjoying the love showered on her by her parents. Ever since Rishi ji’s demise, Riddhima’s account is all about her paternal family, her wishes for them and memories of her father. On May 21, 2020, Riddhima had taken to her Instagram handle to share a series of throwback stories with her family from the times when she was a child, and her parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor were young. In the first picture, we could see little Ranbir Kapoor sitting in the lap of his late father, Rishi Kapoor, while Riddhima could be seen sitting between her parents as her mother, Neetu Kapoor had cutely caressed her face. The second picture was a black-and-white one, where Riddhima was sitting between her parents, as they had seemed to be indulged in a conversation. The third picture was a close-up shot with her late father, Rishi Kapoor, and the fourth one was a family picture, where she could be seen in her mother’s arms. On one month death anniversary of Rishi ji, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni had paid tribute and had remembered her late father, and veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor on her IG handle. She had posted a happy family picture of herself along with her father, Rishi Kapoor, her mother, Neetu Kapoor, her husband, Bharat Sahni and her little daughter, Samara Sahni. The picture had reminds us of the good old times when happiness had prevailed around us and we had the vicinity of our loved ones. Riddhima had also written a sweet message atop the beautiful picture, which could be read as "Say not in grief: 'He is no more' but live in thankfulness that he was- Hebrew Proverb.
