Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal are one of the much-loved married celeb-couples in Bollywood. After dating for a few years, Ali and Richa tied the knot in 2020, and in 2022, they revealed the news while celebrating their union in a dreamy manner. Every now and then, Ali and Richa share unheard anecdotes about their dreamy marital life, and yet the same happened again as Richa opened up about her life after marriage with Ali.
As per Bollywood Life, in a recent media interaction, Richa Chadha shared that her marriage with Ali Fazal is all about equality. Talking more about the same, Richa stated that she is not the kind of woman who just belongs to the kitchen, and also, her hubby is not someone who just orders her around. Sharing how she and Ali both contribute to their household, Richa said:
"It's not that I am a woman that I belong in the kitchen, and he is going to sit and order me around. We divide who pays whose salaries among the staff."

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal had to face a lot of trolling for their marriage, and they even got comments about ending their marriage soon. For those who chipped in late, the celeb couple got married under the Special Marriage Act. However, when asked about the trolls on her interfaith marriage in the same interview, the diva gave a sassy response and said:
"Forget about me; are you losing your mind because no one would marry you willingly? You clearly don’t have the looks or smarts, and on top of that, you are poor too. In your case, the bride side would have to ask for a dowry. Your mother would have had to switch from LPG to a mere stove. Greetings, aunty. Why have you brought such a devil son into this world? This kind of jobless person can only dare to open his mouth here, on a social media platform."
During a conversation on the All About Eve podcast, Richa Chadha opened up about her mom's reaction to her and Ali Fazal's relationship. The actress shared that after knowing the same, her mom called her and said that Ali is married with two kids. Sharing the reason, Richa stated that her mom misinterpreted Ali Fazal with Pakistani actor, Ali Zafar.
Earlier, in an interview with Zoom, Richa Chadha opened up about her and Ali Fazal's equation. Sharing details about the same, Richa stated how, despite coming from different religious backgrounds, she and Ali share a similar middle-class mindset. Citing an example about the same, the actress mentioned how she and her hubby opted for a low-key wedding ceremony and not a lavish one, as they always wanted to be surrounded by their close ones, who could enjoy their hearts out.

It was back in 2022, when the adorable couple, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, with a collaborative post, announced that they tied the knot two years back in 2020 and couldn't celebrate the same because of the lockdown which was imposed due to the pandemic. In the voice note, the couple also stated that they formalised their union and love with their friends and family in the same year when they got married.
