Raveena Tandon is one of the most glamorous divas of her generation in Bollywood. She was the most loved face back in the 90s and early 2000s, and even today, her charisma and personality do not fail to impress her fans. Be it through her pictures, videos or plethora of work, Raveena knows the best way to claim all the success and fame. Moreover, it was very recently that in recognition of her impeccable talents, Raveena was awarded the honorary Padma Shri Award by the Government of India. In her personal life, the diva is married to film distributor, Anil Thadani and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Rasha and a son, Ranbirvardhan.
Taking to her IG handle on September 17, 2023, Raveena Tandon dropped an oh-so-glamorous picture with her daughter, Rasha Thadani. Needless to say, the mommy-daughter duo looked terrific in their stunning outfits, as they posed for a mirror selfie together. While Raveena looked gorgeous in a rust-hued printed midi dress, Rasha looked pretty in a beige-hued cord midi dress. However, what caught everyone’s eyes was that Raveena’s chic look at the age of 48 gave a tough competition to her daughter, Rasha’s looks.

Well, it seems Raveena and Rasha’s picture has not been able to impress the netizens at all. Taking to the discussion portal, Reddit, a user re-shared Raveena’s picture and was quick to point out how the diva had apparently photoshopped her waist area in the picture, making it look slimmer, but in an awkward manner. Reacting to the same, several other Redditors started to poll-in their views on the same, and criticised the actress for being insecure about her looks. While one user wrote, “That photoshop made her look waist small aka young but awkward body pose”, another user commented, “Not just actors but Everyone does this, filters photoshop. Insecurity. Can't blame them.”
For the unversed, apart from Rasha Thadani and Ranbirvardhan Thadani, Raveena Tandon is also the mother of her two adopted girls, Pooja and Chhaya, whom she adopted at the age of 21. While her move back then was quite a bold one, considering the fact that she was too young and unmarried at that time, nevertheless, she pulled off the whole situation gracefully and established herself as an epitome for others. In one of her earlier interviews with Pinkvilla, Raveena had opened up about her decision to adopt children at such a young age and had mentioned:
“There was something about them that made me feel that me being a 21-year-old doesn’t matter. I can say it has been the best decision of my life. I cherish each and every moment I have shared with them, from taking them into my arms for the first time to walking them down the aisle.”

In a previous interview with Smita Prakash, Raveena Tandon had recalled her career back in the 90s, and shared how there were several moments when she got brutally body-shamed. She mentioned that she had kickstarted her career at merely 16 years of age, and at that time, she didn’t quite shed of her chubby baby weight. Thus, she was often tainted with derogatory comments, like “90s ke kholo, TTs, thunder thighs” over her body weight.
