Popular television actor, Raqesh Bapat had garnered a lot of appreciation when he had made a comeback with one of the most controversial shows, Bigg Boss OTT. Despite the fact that the house is known for its fights and aggression, this talented actor has always kept his temper in control. Not only that, the equation with his housemate, Shamita Shetty, had made the news as the two had developed quite a good bond inside the house.
After Bigg Boss OTT, Raqesh Bapat had made a wild card entry in the Bigg Boss 15 house. His ladylove, Shamita Shetty was already a participant in this season as well and the way he had surprised her inside the house had won our hearts. Since their reunion, they have been having a lovely time inside the house and the makers had also arranged a date for them. However, things started going downhill all of a sudden after Raqesh complained of a stomach ache.

Raqesh Bapat was rushed out of the Bigg Boss 15 house after he suffered immense pain due to kidney stones. A report by ETimes stated that the actor experienced pain in his stomach on the night of November 8, 2021, and sources close to the show revealed that he was taken out of the house, which is located at Filmcity in Mumbai, on November 9, 2021. He was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai and will be kept under observation for some time.
Now, as per reports in ETimes, a source shared that Raqesh Bapat's sister, Sheetal Bapat, who lives in Pune with her family, is on her way to Mumbai and will be reaching soon to meet her brother. She is constantly keeping in touch with the makers of the show to get updates about his health as she is very worried about him. As of now, there is no official confirmation about his return to the show and neither any update about his health.

Earlier, when Raqesh Bapat was a part of Bigg Boss OTT, in an interview with The Times Of India, his sister, Sheetal Bapat, had opened up on her brother's growing closeness with Shamita Shetty. She had even shared that she and her family had liked Raqesh's equation with Shamita, and in fact, she was of the view that they were looking cute together.
Sheetal Bapat had further added their family's reaction when they had come to know about his decision to enter Bigg Boss. Talking about the same, she had said:
"Raqesh is a reserved person, and he is someone who doesn’t like to be around too many people. Also, we all never watched Bigg Boss, and all that we had heard was that a lot of fights happen inside the house. And my brother is someone who loves to be at peace. We wondered how he would even survive and adjust to all that? We felt that probably by the time he would understand what was happening, the fight will be over! But seeing him like this is new for us all, and we are all loving it."
