The heartthrob of B-town, Ranveer Singh had met the ever-so-charming, Deepika Padukone at the Zee Cine Awards in Macau, and had felt the sparks in her eyes and butterflies in his heart. However, Sanjay Leela Bansali’s film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram- Leela, had played the role of Cupid between the two, and this is how Deepika and Ranveer’s love story had begun. Now the couple is happily married and giving major couple goals to the millenials.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are the ‘IT’ couple of the glamour world, and their love story is a perfect case of what we call success coming together with support. They have always been seen as each other’s biggest critics and fans. The two never leave an opportunity to laud and appreciate each other during their interviews and win our hearts.
Ranveer Singh is a versatile actor and has played many varied characters in his acting career so far. From being a rapper in Gully Boy to his maniacal avatar in Padmavat, and not to mention his role of Kapil Dev in '83, he has wooed the audience with his acting prowess. In a recent interview with ETimes, Ranveer was asked how does he manage to come out of his varied characters, the actor said:
"I am somebody who goes deep into his character to develop it. My entire vibration that I exude, changes with the new character that I get into. My diet, body language, temperament, responses - all change. Sometimes I feel I am still finding out who I am."
Talking further in the interview, Ranveer shared that his wife, Deepika Padukone is very patient with him and understands him. He also revealed that sometimes she lovingly complains about him being a different person every now and then. Sharing how he deals with her complaint, Ranveer added:
"My wife Deepika is very patient with me. She does lovingly complain that she gets to see a new human being every 6-8 months. I joke with her back that variety is the spice of life, at least she isn't getting bored with the same kind of person. There's a certain core about me that she is privy to. I layer out different layers as I get into different characters, but she understands this."
A few days back, in an interview with Film Companion, Ranveer Singh had opened up about how much secure he feels despite Deepika Padukone’s achieving more success than him professionally. He had also shared how he is the happiest person on his wife, Deepika Padukone's achievements. He had also mentioned that he is the kind of person who loves to see his partner shine in her own career. In his words:
“That’s just who I am. I can’t be any other way. I have always been this secure person. I feel very happy for my wife when she achieves. There’s nobody prouder than me.”
There is no denial to the fact that Ranveer and Deepika dote one another and always shower love on each other. On December 4, 2021, Deepika Padukone had taken to her Instagram stories and had shared a post that had stated that the most attractive people in this world are the ones who teach things without making one feel dumb or like a loser. The doting wifey had written, "#HusbandAppreciationPost @ranveersingh" atop it. The quote shared by the actress was indeed a beautiful one, and it could be read as:
"Nothing more attractive than a man who teaches you things without making you feel like you're dumb for not knowing it already."
