Ranbir Kapoor has been enjoying his marital life with his wife, Alia Bhatt when the couple announced their pregnancy news and gave their millions of fans anther huge surprise. Ever since Alia had shared the picture with her hubby, Ranbir from her sonography, their friends, family, and fans have been ushering them with blessings and love.
For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had tied the knot on April 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony. The couple had looked absolutely ethereal in their respective wedding ensembles from the shelves of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. However, it was Alia's customised kaleera and mangalsutra that had featured their lucky number 8 (which also seems like an infinity sign) that had caught our attention.
Ranbir Kapoor is currently neck-deep busy promoting his upcoming film, Shamshera. However, in an interview with Mashable India, the actor opened up about his connection with the number 8 and revealed that it's not related to superstition. He revealed that it has a rather beautiful connection with her mother, Neetu Kapoor. Talking about the same, the actor said:
"Well, there's no reason like there's no superstition attached to it, my mother's birthday is on eight (July) and it's just a number that I connected with you know I like the way it looks, it looks like an infinity."
Going further in the interview, Ranbir added that all of his cars have a number plate with the number 8, even his football jersey has customisation of the number 8. The actor revealed that he and Alia are planning to have a tattoo of the same number. In his words:
"All my cars are number eight, my football jersey is number eight and I just like something about the number and I am fortunate that even Alia loves that number. Both of us are also contemplating getting an eight-number tattoo at some point in our life, we're still talking about we haven't decided yet."
In another interview with Mashable India, Ranbir even mentioned that if they don't get a tattoo on the number 8, it might be on their children's name. How beautiful is that thought!
On the work front, Ranbir has a pipeline of projects including Shamshera, Brahmastra and Luv Ranjan's untitled romantic drama with Shraddha Kapoor.
