Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood. The actor never leaves a chance to impress his fans courtesy of his acting skills, good looks, good manners, and more. In his personal life, Ranbir is married to Alia Bhatt, and they are adorable parents to their baby girl, Raha Kapoor. In his professional life, Ranbir is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Animal, alongside the national crush Rashmika Mandanna. However, since the last few days, Ranbir has been sharing some unheard anecdotes about his personal life, and yet the same thing happened again.
On November 27, 2023, Ranbir Kapoor appeared in Hyderabad for the promotion of his upcoming film, Animal. During his interaction, Ranbir Kapoor talked about his feelings about losing his father, Rishi Kapoor. He said that every child who loses a parent always feels that they haven't had enough time with their parents. Talking more about the same, Ranbir said:
"I lost my father in the last few years and I think everyone who loses a parent, they always feel they never spent enough time with them.”

Going further in the interview, Ranbir Kapoor bared his heart out and walked down memory lane to recall what kind of relationship he used to share with his dad and late actor, Rishi Kapoor. Talking about the same, Ranbir stated that while he was growing up, he had always seen his father busy with work, doing two to three shifts per day. Ranbir said that although he and Riddhima have always seen Rishi Kapoor with a lot of love and respect, they never shared a friendly bond, like sitting and talking with an open heart. Elaborating more about the same, Ranbir said that it's one of his biggest regrets in life, and he hopes he could share a more friendly bond with his dad. Elaborating more on the same, Ranbir said:
"While I was growing up, my father was very busy, he was shooting most of the time, double shifts-triple shifts he was traveling everywhere so somewhere we’ve always seen him with a lot of love and respect but there was not a really friendly relationship between us. We couldn’t just sit and chat, and I really have that one regret in my life I wish I could be friends with my father. I wish I could share more with him, which is one regret I always live with."
Earlier, in an interview with Unstoppable with NBK, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about the loss of his father, Rishi Kapoor. The actor mentioned that it is indeed the most heartbreaking thing for a child to lose his/her parents. However, Ranbir further mentioned that he still doesn't understand the loss of his father because, from childhood, he was taught to be strong. Talking more about the same, Ranbir revealed that he never expressed the loss of his father to anyone, not even to himself.

During the trailer launch event of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor shared that his dad, Rishi Kapoor served as an emotional reference for him in his film. Elaborating more about it, Ranbir said that his father was a very passionate and aggressive man, so he tried to imitate his characteristics in his film, Animal.
