After the mammoth success of RRR, the film's lead actor, Ram Charan is promoting his upcoming film, Acharya, in which he will be sharing the screen with his father and legendary actor, Chiranjeevi Konidela, for the first time in full-fledged roles. However, we already saw megastar, Chiranjeevi and his son, Ram Charan, together on the big screen a few years ago in the latter's film, Bruce Lee: The Fighter. However, it was a cameo appearance, but it had hyped the audiences, and since then, people have been requesting the father-son duo to come together, and their wish was fulfilled when Acharya was announced.
The South Indian superstar, Ram Charan is promoting his upcoming film, Acharya in full throttle and is leaving no stone unturned in order to make it one of the biggest hits of his career. The actor is also quite excited to see the audience's response to his on-screen presence with his father, Chiranjeevi Konidela. In a recent interview with a leading media portal, Ram Charan talked about the same and shared an emotional incident that had happened during the filming of Acharya.

In an interview with the Bangalore Mirror, Ram Charan opened up about the experience of working with his father, Chiranjeevi Konidela in the film, Acharya. The doting son revealed that it was a moment of a lifetime for him to get the chance to work with his dad. Ram Charan also added that it was wonderful to go out to work with his dad in the morning and return home at night after spending the whole day together working on the sets of Acharya. Ram Charan stated:
"Dad and I used to eat dinner together and then get up the next day to start working out together. We then began to work on the sets, before wrapping up the shooting portion and returning home together."
However, Ram Charan admitted that although he knew that it was a priceless experience for him, he couldn't gather the courage to say this to his father as he had felt a bit shy. But miraculously, it was the doting dad, Chiranjeevi Konidela, who had told his son, Ram Charan, the same things that he had been thinking to tell his father all this time. The megastar had told his son that this was a priceless experience, and they should make the most of this chance of working together. After hearing the exact thoughts from his father, Ram Charan revealed that he couldn't hold on to his emotions and had burst into tears. He said:
"I had a feeling I needed to cherish these moments but couldn't express it. We will never be able to relive these moments, Charan. What a blessing it is to be on the same journey!! I intend to make the most of this situation. I was baffled. I was crying as I hugged him."

On March 27, 2022, Ram Charan had celebrated his 37th birthday, and on his special day, the doting father, Chiranjeevi Konidela had penned a heart-melting note for his son. The megastar had taken to his IG handle and had posted a collage of two unseen pictures with his son. While the picture on the left was from Ram Charan's childhood, the right one was a still from the sets of their film, Acharya, and it had won everyone's heart. Along with this collage, Chiranjeevi had penned:
"I find it strange to convey Birthday Wishes to Ram Charan through social media. But on this occasion, if I share a pic of @alwaysramcharan I felt that fans will be happy. As a son, He makes me proud and he is my pride. #hbdramcharan."
Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi Konidela's much-awaited film, Acharya will be released on April 29, 2022.
