We all had thought every time we had fallen in love that he/she is the ‘one’. But there is a difference between us thinking it to be true and reality, and not every love story ends in a ‘happily ever after’. Some love stories end when the couple part ways but just like Ted Mosby (of the American sitcom, How I Met Your Mother), you should never stop looking for that perfect one of your life. Rahul Mahajan, son of former BJP leader, late Pramod Mahajan and Rekha Mahajan, has always made the headlines for his love life and marriages. Rahul was earlier married to Shweta Singh, whom he had known for 13 years and were together in the flying school in the US, but had parted ways in 2008. Two years later, in 2010, Rahul Mahajan had again grabbed the headlines when he had exchanged wedding vows with Dimpy Ganguly on national television after hosting a Swayamvar. Rahul and Dimpy’s marital life too, was short-lived as she had filed a case against him for physical abuse in 2014. Just like Shweta, Dimpy too, had filed for divorce accusing Rahul of domestic violence. After his divorce with Dimpy, Rahul had tied the knot with a Russian Kazakhstan model, Natalya Ilina in 2018.
Former Bigg Boss contestant, Rahul Mahajan entered the ongoing season of the most controversial reality show as a challenger. Rahul was earlier involved in a drug scandal but is now a changed man. In an interview with ETimes, Rahul talked about his marriage with Natalya Ilina Mahajan. Revealing that his wife, Natalya had converted to Hinduism, Rahul said, “We are like two tracks of railway. We do not interfere in each other’s matters too much and give each other space. We are not even too apart from each other. But we maintain the balance so that our marriage is on the right track. She is Russian and has converted to Hindu religion and I always give her the reference of Lord Shiva and Parvati. I always tell her that husband and wife’s relationship should be like Shiv and Parvati. We keep them as our idols in our relationship. I teach her Geeta and we read a lot of mythological stuff together. I feel you really need a good destiny to find a perfect partner and family.”
It was in 2018 when Rahul Mahajan had tied the knot with Natalya Ilina in an intimate wedding ceremony at a temple in Malabar Hills, Mumbai. In an interview with The Times of India back then, Rahul had revealed that he wanted to keep his marriage low-key because he didn’t want people to gossip about it as it was his third marriage. Rahul had initially planned to not reveal this news to the media for a year at least and announce his wedding on their first anniversary. Before tying the knot, Rahul and Natalya had known each other for a year and a half. (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan, Agastya Nanda And Alleged Beau, Meezan Wish Navya Naveli Nanda On Her Birthday)
Former Miss Asia Bikini, Vandana Tiwari, known by her stage name Gehana Vasisth, has claimed that Rahul Mahajan has been married not three but four times. As per a SpotboyE report, Gehana had alleged that Rahul was secretly married to a Mumbai-based model, Bhavisha 'Dolly' Desai, who originally hails from Goa but has been working in Mumbai for the last 15-18 years. According to Gehana, Rahul and Bhavisha had an intimate temple wedding in Thane district, Mumbai.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Rahul Mahajan had talked about his previous two marriages with Shweta Singh and Dimpy Ganguly. Rahul had said, “My previous two marriages happened in a hurry. There was no time to think and though both Shweta and Dimpy are wonderful individuals, we were not compatible. Over the last few years, I realized that I don’t want to be in a relationship for the sake of it. I don’t want to be with someone where there is no way forward. With Natalya, I discovered true companionship and also, there’s no room for long arguments or differences between us.” (Also Read: Anushka Sharma Is Proud Of Virat Kohli, Congratulates Him And Team India On Victory Over Australia)
We wish Rahul and Natalya, blissful life together!
