For the unversed, on October 9, 2020, the couple had become parents for the first time by welcoming their munchkin, Krishiv Verma. The newbie father, Kunal Verma, was on cloud nine after the birth of his first child and could not contain his excitement. The actor had announced the news of his baby boy's birth through a cutesy video on his Instagram handle. In the video, we could read, "9-10-2020 Mother Earth got it's one more child. Thanku is a very small word to express…WE 3 our humbled.. cant express its surreal".

On October 9, 2021, Puja Banerjee took to her Instagram handle and shared a priceless video on the special occasion of her son, Krishiv Verma's first birthday. The video is from the memorable time when Puja saw and held Krishiv for the first time in her arms and started crying inconsolably with happiness. From seeing Puja smiling while gazing towards her little prince in the video to reading her heartmelting note in the caption of her post, it is nothing but a super-special wish from this doting mom for her little munchkin. The actress started her note by penning a few lines describing the emotions she had experienced when she saw her son, Krishiv, for the first time, and it can be read as "This is the most memorable and special moment of my life when i met u for the first time on the fourth day after you were born and i will cherish this moment till my last breath."
Going further in the note, Puja Banerjee thanked her son, Krishiv Verma, for completing her as a woman and stated that she might not be the best mother in the world, but there's no doubt that there's no one who can love him the way she does. On Krishiv Verma's first birthday, his actor-father, Kunal Verma, also took to his IG handle and dropped some cutesy selfies with his birthday boy. In the pictures, while Kunal looked handsome in his peach coloured polo neck t-shirt and denim, it was his son, Krishiv, who made everyone fall in love with him as he looked out of this world in his white kurta-pyjama. Along with these surreal pictures, Kunal penned a sweet wish for his son, and it can be read as "Happy birthday krishiv you have turned 1 today .... May god bless you."
When Puja Banerjee and her husband, Kunal Verma, had brought their son, Krishiv Verma, home, the first-time daddy had shared a family picture on his IG handle.
