Pearle Maaney is one of the most popular faces in the South Indian film industry. Apart from being a talented actress, she has been a lyricist, television presenter as well as a much-loved YouTuber. She rose to fame in Bollywood with her performance in the 2020-released film, Ludo. Speaking about her personal life, Pearle got hitched to Srinish Aravind in 2019, with whom she fell in love during her stint in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 1. The duo got blessed with their daughter, Nila Srinish in March 2021. Fast forward to now, Pearle is expecting her second child, and recently dropped mesmerising glimpses from her traditional baby shower ceremony.
Taking to her IG handle on November 1, 2023, Pearle Maaney dropped a bunch of pictures from her traditional Valaikappu ceremony. The diva opted for a mix of exquisite indoor and outdoor locations for her special day. However, it was the mommy-to-be’s radiant look that caught all the spotlight. Pearle looked radiant in a forest green-hued Kanjeevaram saree that had floral gold patterns all over it, and featured a broad, pink-hued zari woven border all over it. She matched her saree with a contrasting pink-hued raw silk blouse, that featured zari, threadwork and embellished detailing. She looked lovely as she painted her hands in the hues of henna.

To complete her look, the actress preferred minimal makeup and let her exquisite temple jewellery do all the talking. Pearle donned a gold choker and a layered neckpiece that featured intricate craftsmanship. She also opted for a traditional gold rani haar, a pair of gold kadas and a kamarbandh that included motifs of religious deities. A pair of heavy jhumkas and a gorgeous piece of maang teeka added stars to her look. And to add that final touch to her look, Pearle braided her long flowy hair, and decorated it with a long gajra of mogra.
In the several pictures that Pearle posted, we can find the happy and radiant mommy-to-be celebrating each and every moment of her special day. From posing with her husband and daughter, to seeking in all the blessings from her mother and mother-in-law, Pearle enjoyed some of the most heartfelt moments of her second pregnancy in the presence of her family. Along with the pictures, Pearle penned a small note, that can be read as:
“When Your Heart is Full…. And Your Baby feels it too.”

It was on July 13, 2023, when Pearle Maaney had announced her second pregnancy in a witty yet cute manner. Taking to her IG handle, in a collaborative post with her hubby, Srinish, the actress dropped a candid picture of herself, her husband and her daughter. The cute family of three flashed their brightest smiles for the camera. However, it was their cute caption that won hearts. The caption, which was composed as if penned by their baby girl, Nila, can be read as:
“Nila: There is a baby in Mamma's belly and its Dosa in Dada's. We are happy to share this beautiful News with you...…we are expecting baby No.2. Need all your blessings."
