It has already been five days since Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha's surreal engagement ceremony. However, the entire social media is still filled with stunning glimpses of the same. Now, the actress shared some more new moments from their traditional Ardaas ceremony, which astonished us. For the unversed, it was only in March 2023 when the actress and the politician were spotted for the first time. Since then, they have been frequently papped in the city, giving rise to speculations about their relationship. Finally, on May 13, 2023, they got engaged in Delhi.
Taking to her IG handle on May 18, 2023, Parineeti Chopra posted some more inside glimpses from her Ardaas ceremony with her fiance, Raghav Chadha. In the pictures, Parineeti and Raghav were decked up in their pristine ensembles, radiating pure love and joy. While Parineeti looked gorgeous in a white hand-embroidered Manish Malhotra lehenga choli, Raghav complemented her in a matching kurta-pyjama paired with a beige-hued jacket. They were seen seated inside the Gurudwara along with their respective families.

We can spot their parents in the following line beside Parineeti and Raghav. And in one picture, the actress' loving father, Pawan Chopra was seen getting emotional. This moment was indeed cherishable, while Parineeti's dad was seen rubbing his tears with a handkerchief. This was quite relatable to all fathers and proved his love for his daughter.
For the uninitiated, in Sikhism, Ardaas or the congregational prayer is a holy ritual followed by the respected family members for the couple's happiness. During the Ardaas, the couple and their respective parents stand to offer Ardaas to Waheguru to reflect on their inner values. This is then followed by the singing of the Shabads. And then, the priest tells the couple about the importance of it. Sharing such glimpses from the ceremony, Parineeti penned:
"ARDAAS • Felt surreal to be blessed by the one and only, Jathedar of the Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh Ji. His sacred presence at our engagement meant everything to us."

On May 15, 2023, Parineeti's mom, Reena Chopra took to her IG handle and penned an emotional note for the newly-engaged jodi. She shared a picture of Parineeti and Raghav, wherein the much-in-love duo was mushily posing for the lens. Sharing the picture, Reena shared her joy and gratitude and wrote that something in life happens which makes one belief in a higher power, i.e. God, which is why she feels blessed. Reena also thanked everyone who showered blessings upon Parineeti and Raghav.
