For the unversed, Shaheen Shah Afridi is an International cricketer who plays as a 'left-arm fast' bowler from Pakistan. The 23-year-old cricketer won everyone’s heart with his sweet gesture towards Indian bowler, Jasprit Bumrah.

Jasprit Bumrah and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, are the newest parents in town, having welcomed their son, Angad, on September 4, 2023. Pakistani cricket, Shaheen Afridi, took this good news as a means to congratulate Bumrah. In a heartwarming video, the Pak bowler, Shaheen, not only hugged Bumrah with best regards for his newborn son but also gifted the latter a special memento for this new phase of his life.
In a heartwarming video shared by the Pakistani cricket board, Shaheen Afridi was seen approaching Jasprit Bumrah on the Pavilion just after their practice session. He handed over a big gift box to Bumrah, congratulating him on becoming a father. He further wished all the health and happiness for Bumrah's newborn son, Angad. This thoughtful gesture of Shaheen visibly moved Bumrah, who repeatedly thanked the young bowler for his thoughtful gesture.
