Pakistani cricketer, Babar Azam has created quite a buzz regarding his rumoured ‘wedding’. Recently, some reports claimed that the 29-year-old cricketer has shopped from the ace Indian designer, Sabyasachi, for his upcoming wedding scheduled to happen right after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Babar reportedly bought a sherwani worth around INR 7 lakhs and gold jewellery as well.
In August 2023, rumours circulated that Babar Azam got engaged to his cousin, Nadia. However, there was no confirmation either regarding his engagement or his marriage. But now, reports are rife that the former Pakistani captain might tie the knot with Pakistan’s sweetheart, Hania Aamir. What’s the truth?

A few months back, Hania Aamir appeared on Fahad Mustafa’s show, The Fourth Umpire Express. As a part of the show’s fun Q&A segment, the 26-year-old actress was asked ‘which cricketer she thinks is cuter than her’. The host gives her three options- Azhar Ali, Babar Azam and Naseem Shah, she promptly takes the name of her rumoured beau, Babar Azam.
On the other hand, a clip from an old interview of the former Pakistani captain, Babar Azam, too, has gone viral. In the video, Babar is asked by the host of a chitchat show, if given a chance to work with a Pakistani actress in a movie, whom will he choose among the following- Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat or Hania Aamir. The 29-year-old cricketer shyly takes the name of Hania Aamir. The host also reminds Babar that the actress is almost the same age as him.

As soon as this video got uploaded, it went berserkly viral, and fans of the duo started expressing their desire for the two to tie the knot soon. Social media is abuzz with posts suggesting that supporters of both celebrities are hoping for a marriage similar to that of the beloved Indian celeb couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli.
