The much-loved couple of Hollywood, Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton, have reportedly called it quits after being together for five years. Rami Malek, last seen in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, was together with his Bohemian Rhapsody, co-star, Lucy Boynton, since 2018. As per reports by The Sun, the couple has hit a roadblock in their relationship as distance has grown them apart over the years.
If reports of The Sun are to be believed, the Bohemian Rhapsody couple, Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton mutually parted ways at the beginning of this year. A source close to both stars revealed the duo was together for a long time, and over the years, they drifted apart. Currently, both actors are busy with their professional commitments and concentrating on their careers. The source further added:
“Rami and Lucy split earlier this year without much fanfare. They were together for a long time but had grown apart. They are both moving on with their lives and are busy with work.”

The rumours of Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton’s separation have been doing rounds for quite some time now, more as so because the couple was last spotted together at the BAFTA awards, which was held earlier this year. To add more to the already signalling separation of the couple, Rami was spotted with a mystery blonde that too hand in hand as the duo headed towards the Bruce Springsteen concert in Hyde Park. A source close to Rami reported to The Sun that the actor is spending time with his friends and having a good time. The source also revealed:
“Rami has surrounded himself with his mates and has spent the summer enjoying himself. He asked Emma to join him to watch Bruce at BST last month and they had a great time. Rami is enjoying life and living it up.”
The ex-couple, Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton first met on the sets of their Oscar-winning movie, Bohemian Rhapsody. There have been speculations of the duo being together ever since, but it was only in 2018 that the couple officially announced that they were together. Ever since 2018, the duo was spotted together on multiple occasions and seemed pretty cosy with one another. As time went on, the duo often wore coordinated outfits at events and was tagged as the official 'cuties' of Hollywood. When Rami won an Oscar for Bohemian Rhapsody, he confessed his love for his co-actor as delivering his acceptance speech. He further added:
“Lucy Boynton — you are the heart of this film, you are beyond immensely talented, you have captured my heart,"

Rami Malek is recently soaring high with the success of his last release, Oppenheimer. The actor is next seen in universal studios’ thriller, Ameteur. The actor is also confirmed to play the lead role in James Hawes’ directorial next, which is yet to be titled. As of Lucy Boynton, the actress was last seen in Barbie and will be seen next in the musical film, The Greatest Hits.
