Nita Ambani wore a Kanchi Pattu saree on day 2 of the JWP launching event

On day two of the Jio World Plaza launching event, Nita showcased her support for India's cultural heritage in a traditional Kanchi Pattu saree. Nita's saree was also a collaboration between the master weaver, Shri Somadas and the SWADESH platform that ensured the legacy of Indian craftsmanship in contemporary times. The saree featured intricate designs with zari threads, mainly the Korvai technique, which is a complex weaving method that joins contrasting colours with a series of interlocking threads, on pure silk fabric in the rich gold colour. It can be easily preserved as an heirloom ensemble. Thus, the piece of clothing is a pure representation of India’s age-old weaving traditions. She accessorised her look with emerald-adorned jewellery, glam makeup, and side-parted wavy tresses.
