American singer, Nick Jonas is one of the known names in the world of music. He, along with his brothers, Joe and Kevin, are known as the Jonas Brothers, and they have been ruling hearts with their music ever since 2006. Apart from his identity as a singer in the West, Nick is also popular as ‘jiju’ in India, as he got married to the ‘desi girl’ Priyanka Chopra in 2018. In January 2024, Nick, along with his brothers, Kevin and Joe, was in Mumbai to perform at the second edition of the Lollapalooza music festival.
After their performance at the festival, the three Jonas brothers then graced the grand welcome party that Natasha Poonawalla hosted in their honour in January 2024. What caught our attention was the mode of transport that the brothers used to reach to the venue. A clip from their entry at the venue was uploaded recently on the discussion platform, Reddit.

For the night, Nick was dressed in a beige-coloured printed co-ord set paired with a white vest. Joe graced the event in a denim-on-denim outfit which comprised a jacket adorned with floral embroidery, a t-shirt in blue colour, and dual-toned pin-striped pants. Meanwhile, Kevin wore a pin-striped brown-hued shirt which he wore over a brown tee and paired with acid-washed denim jeans.
In the video, Nick, Joe and Kevin could be seen making their way to the paparazzi stationed outside the venue by crossing two cars that were parked in front of the entrance. Redditors speculated that the Jonas Brothers got down from a white Innova. However, there is no evidence that proves the same. The post is titled as:
“Nick Jiju & bros arrived at a party thrown for them by PC's bff Natasha Poonawala in Innova: cheapest possible taxi for rich. Their multi-billionaire friend didn't send them a car nor PC's family and looks like they didn't want to spend in a luxury car taxi.”
As soon as the post was shared on the discussion platform, netizens took to the comment section and started penning down their thoughts. A segment of the netizens wondered what was wrong with using Innova to reach the venue. One user wrote, “Believe it or not, the Innova is the only 'cheap' car premium car owners won't mind sitting in.” A second comment can be read as “to kya ho gaya bhai. achchi hi baat hai vaise, innova me aaye. humility restored.” A third user said, “People are too much. When stars show off they are so mean to them. Now they are humble and that is huge issue. get a life you guys!”

In several viral videos from their stint at Lollapalooza, Nick could be heard saying that the Jonas Brothers were going to perform for the first time in India. During their performance, the crowd started chanting ‘jiju, jiju’ to Nick, and in turn, the singer even thanked the audience for showering love on them.
