Nia Sharma is considered to be one of the most talented actresses in the television industry. With her stunning looks, sizzling dance moves, and impeccable fashion regimen, Nia often mesmerises her fans. Speaking about her professional journey, Nia gathered much success with her top-notch performances in shows like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Jamai Raja, Ishq Mein Marjawan, and Naagin 4. The actress made her debut in the digital world in web series like Twisted and Jamai Raja 2.0, wherein she was seen doing some intimate scenes. And now, in a recent interview, Nia opened up about the same.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Nia Sharma was asked whether she felt uncomfortable while doing intimate scenes on screen. To give an answer about the same, Nia stated that she never felt such kind of things as everything is mechanical on camera. Nia also shared how she felt after doing a kissing scene on screen.

The actress mentioned that most of the time, when she had a passionate kissing scene to act, she felt like she looked like a monkey or chimpanzee as her entire lipstick spread on her mouth. Sharing this, the actress wanted to say that while playing an intimate scene online, an actress or actor is more concerned about their looks, so they don't really have time to feel anything. Elaborating more on the same, Nia shared:
"Honestly, it’s so mechanical on camera. Most of the times, when I have smooched somebody in a web series or something, my entire lipstick was here. I was looking like a monkey, like a chimpanzee after the scene. Toh usme aapko kaha itna time mil raha hai to feel something or anything."
In the same interview, Nia Sharma stated that during such a scene, there's another concern that generally goes on. The actress stated that the actors and actresses are concerned about whether the scene is looking vulgar on the screen or if it's looking too cheap, so amid all these, she never felt uncomfortable. She further added that although she didn't do much of these scenes, what happened is that her liquid matte lipstick used to smudge everywhere except her lips, and she needed 20 minutes to clear that off and get back on the sets. Nia mentioned:
"You’re always bothered about how you’re looking. If it’s looking too vulgar or it’s not so. So, entire mind of yours is roaming around or hovering around the fact that if the scenes are going right and if its looking too cheap. So, that way you’re very very conscious. Uncomfortable I’ve not been. Itne kiye bhi nahi hai bas one or two. But when I got out of the kiss that liquid matte woh lips ko chodke har jagah thi. So, it took me like 20 minutes to get it off and bring back myself into the scene.”

Back in 2022, Nia Sharma gathered a lot of success for her sizzling dance moves in the famous song, Phoonk Le, sung by Nikhita Gandhi. And for that, she needed to have a flat belly, which she gained by a strict diet. However, in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Nia Sharma opened up about the body issues she had to go through for the same. The actress shared how she started sleeping hungry and almost lost her appetite. Nia also admitted that it took her a lot of time to make peace with her tendency to bloat.
