The last one and a half year have been very difficult for all the people out there. There are a lot of people who have lost their near and dear ones duo to COVID-19. Bollywood actress, Neha Dhupia and her husband, Angad Bedi, had to bear the brunt of the deadly virus. However, what was more dangerous was the fact that Neha was pregnant with her second child.
For the unversed, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi had taken to their respective social media handles to share the news of their pregnancy with their fans. Neha had shared a picture in which her elder daughter, Mehr, was looking at her baby bump and her hubby, Angad Bedi had caressed it. Alongside the photo, the mommy-to-be had written, "Took us 2 days to come with a caption….The best one we could think of was … Thank you, God. #WaheguruMehrKare."

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Neha Dhupia revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 during her second pregnancy, and she had to stay in isolation for 24 days along with her daughter, Mehr. She recalled the horrible time as she had to stay away from her family as well as from her support system, Angad Bedi.
Sharing the same, Neha Dhupia said, "I had a mild version of Covid. But I had a very large version of fear. Because just being isolated and being away from everyone and the thing is I got to know at a time when I was had isolated myself because I thought everyone at home has had it. So from my staff to my in-laws, my husband and I had Mehr with me so it was a very very tough time for us and you know 24 days being pregnant being isolated with your child and it was when Delhi was peaking at its cases."

Going further in the interview, Neha Dhupia also revealed the hardship she had to go through during the earlier days of her second pregnancy. She said, "I had my mask on the whole day and I would sleep on the ground in a certain position staying away from Mehr because I am pregnant and I know there are certain ways of sleeping at that point."
However, Neha's daughter, Mehr, used to urge her to sleep on the bed, but the doting mother had to kill her heart to keep away from her. She told the portal, "But then she’ll be like, ‘But mama there is so much space on the bed, you sleep on the bed’ and I would try and tell her that there is a reason why I don’t even want to be close to her so we were working on too much caution and a lot of fear. But together we were very brave.”

For the unversed, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi are happily married for three years.
