South Indian director, Vignesh Shivan and actress, Nayanthara got hitched on June 9, 2022, in a grand ceremony in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. A few months into their marital bliss, on October 9, 2022, they welcomed their twin sons, Uyir and Ulag, into their lives via surrogacy. Since then, the doting parents' social media handles have been hijacked by their little ones, and they often share cutesy glimpses from their lives. Moreover, Nayanthara and Vignesh can be seen celebrating each festival in 2023 with more enthusiasm as they got the chance to celebrate it with their twins for the first time.
Taking to his IG handle, on September 7, 2023, Vignesh Shivan shared a cutesy picture from the Krishna Jayanthi celebration at his home along with his wife, Nayanthara and their twin boys, Uyir and Ulag. In the picture, the little bundles of joy were seen playing with the puja samagri while being captured from behind. They donned cute white-hued dhotis with golden borders and looked simply adorable. In addition, we can spot Vignesh and Nayanthara's home mandir beautifully decked up for the puja. Sharing the priceless photo, the doting daddy wrote:
"With our two Krishananssssss! Such a blessed #KrishnaJayanthi wit sooo many beautiful, blessed moments! All the Love to our #Uyir & #Ulag. Happy Krishna Jayanthi, hope everyone had a wondeful one with family and friends."

Taking to her IG handle, Nayanthara shared a video with her baby boys on August 31, 2023. At the beginning of the video, Nayanthara was seen exiting a room while carrying the little boys in her arms. All three of them twinned in white ensembles paired with cool sunnies. However, Uyir and Ulag's cutesy looks indeed melted our hearts. Sharing it, the doting mommy wrote, "Naan vandhutaen nu sollu…." which means, "Tell them I'm here...". And the video also marked Nayanthara's stunning debut on Instagram.

On August 27, 2023, Vignesh Shivan took to his IG handle and dropped heart-melting glimpses from his and Nayanthara's first-ever Onam celebration with their twins. In the first photo, we spotted the family of four sitting on the floor while the doting parents gave a peck of love to their boys. The following photo showed their twins, Uyir and Ulag, enjoying the lip-smacking authentic food of the festival. The little boys looked the cutest in traditional dhotis.

It was after the arrival of their twin boys, Uyir and Ulag, on October 9, 2022, when Vignesh and Nayanthara embraced parenthood for the first time in their lives.
