Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, is an inspiration for every youth, who has already commanded a huge follower base for herself. The 26-year-old is already an internet sensation, courtesy of her high academic merit, as well as her achievements as a young entrepreneur. Moreover, the talented girl often makes it to the headlines as she puts her best foot in fashion and mesmerises everyone with her drop-dead gorgeous looks.
While Navya is already creating a stir among the audience without even making any film debut, there was a time when she dropped a hint of whom she considers as her inspiration when it comes to her understanding of fashion. Well, in one of the pictures from Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s pre-wedding bash, one could spot Navya striking a wonderful pose with eminent filmmaker, Karan Johar. However, on close inspection, what caught everyone’s attention was the fact that Navya donned an exceedingly similar lehenga as that worn by Sonam Kapoor for her mehendi ceremony.

Speaking about Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi outfit, one cannot but forget how stunningly gorgeous it was. Breaking the usual stereotype of red-based shades, the actress had worn a white and gold-toned lehenga from the shelves of ace designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The unique piece of garment, which took an overall time of 18 months to be created in perfection, featured intricate chikankari detailing, along with silver and gold zari, pearls, sequins and exquisite Swarovski crystals to complete its detailing.
It seems that Navya has inherited the genes of nailing every fashionable look to perfection from none other than her mommy, Shweta Bachchan Nanda. Proof of the same was found when the mommy-daughter duo, twinned in pastel-hued sarees as they graced an event hosted by iconic designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. For the event, while Shweta looked pretty in a pale yellow-hued saree, it was her daughter, Navya who looked no less than a princess in a pastel-pink, sequin detailed saree. Indeed, the duo looked lovely.

Apart from acing all types of fashionable looks, Navya also loves to experiment creatively with her outfits, so that they can be styled altogether differently. For instance, while attending Isha Ambani’s wedding in 2018, Navya twinned with the ladies of her family in wearing ethnic attires. Nevertheless, the saree which she actually wore for the wedding originally belonged to her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan, which was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The designer duo shared a picture of Navya in the revamped saree on their social media handle, and penned:
“Reviving Tradition! @navyananda wears her grandmother, Jaya Bachchan's heritage sari, which has been edged with gota beaded borders by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Paired with their zardozi choli.”
