For a mother, seeing her children grow and becoming beautiful human beings is one of the proudest moments of her life. Namrata Shirodkar had won million hearts when she was awarded the title of Miss India in 1993. With movies like Vaastav, Pukar, Astitva, and Bride and Prejudice to her credit, she had been applauded for her splendid performances. She had gotten married to the man of her dreams, superstar, Mahesh Babu and had left the glamour world for her family. Their love story had begun when the two were filming for the Telegu movie, Vamsi. The lovely couple is blessed with two adorable kids, 14-year-old son, Gautam Krishna, and 8-year old daughter, Sitara Ghattamaneni.
Namrata Shirodkar loves sharing pictures and videos of her family and on July 7, 2020, she took to her IG handle and shared a throwback video of her daughter, Sitara. In the video, Sitara was enjoying a merry go round swing and was seen laughing her heart out. After some moments, the little munchkin got scared and her expressions changed as she began to cry. Calling her angel, a drama queen, Namrata wrote, “Merry go round and round and round… it's that infectious laugh knotted with tears all in a split of a second!! That’s my perfect drama queen. Sitara’s shenanigans.”
On March 25, 2020, the former actress had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a beautiful collage featuring her daughter, Sitara having a great time with her daddy, Mahesh Babu. Along with the lovely collage, Namrata had also written that her daughter was extremely happy hearing the news of the lockdown as her dad would be at home for the next 21 days. Her caption could be read as “It’s the initial ‘go crazy ‘with happiness when they hear it’s 21-day lockdown and all she’s going to see is so much more of her favourite !! Nana, she just can’t get her hands Of him!! Mahesh Babu is one of the most powerful actors of Tollywood, who often keeps busy with his work. During the lockdown, Mahesh had gotten the most precious time of his life. The actor spent his lockdown period by cherishing every moment with his wife and kids. On May 22, 2020, Namrata had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared an adorable picture of Mahesh with their son, Gautam. In the picture, Mahesh was twinning with Gautam setting major father-son goals. Namrata had written, “The boys are at it again!!” atop it. On Namrata’s picture, her sister and former actress, Shilpa Shirodkar had commented, “And how cool are they. miss u all so so so so much.”
Namrata had shared another glimpse of the father’s bond with his kids on April 15, 2020. She had taken to her Instagram handle and had shared a picture of Mahesh and Sitara intervening Gautam’s game and spoiling it. Along with the picture, she had written, “When the son is trying to win a game and the father and daughter intervene and spoil it and my Buddha son surrenders with a million dollar smile instead!!
