Executive Director - India Business, Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar and Co-Founder of SUGAR cosmetics, Vineeta Singh were impressed by one sports pitcher on the show, a Kabaddi startup team who had appeared once earlier in the show, Shark Tank India's first season for some of their investments. Now, the team was also welcomed by Namita and her husband, Vikas Thapar for dinner at the former's home. For the unversed, the show is already one of the most loved business television shows. Many entrepreneurs and business founders who managed to impress the Sharks with their powerful pitch, also got huge investments from them.
Taking to her IG handle, Namita Thapar shared some drool-worthy photos with her husband, Vikas Thapar as they turned hosts for welcoming the founders of the sports business of a Kabaddi startup. In the pictures, the Shark Tank India fame was seen posing with her husband and the sports pitchers, including Suhail Chandhok, Arvind Sivdas and others. Namita looked gorgeous as always in a black-hued flowy gown paired with dainty earrings and subtle makeup.

Sharing the photos, Namita also talked about the sports pitchers' journey, who first appeared on Shark Tank India, season one. However, due to lack of strength in their pitch, they could not impress the Sharks. Now, Namita penned how the Kabaddi startup has grown over the years, and there is more clarity in their vision for sports in the country. Namita wrote:

From their pitch at @sharktank.india Season 1 to now, what a long long way they have come, 12X sales & profit! I am totally inspired after hearing their statistics, stories & shared vision for elevating sports in our country, especially at the grassroots where it is needed the most ! Keep up the incredible work & keep making us proud @yuvakabaddiseries."
Namita is loved for her straight-forward nature and she has always opened up about her disliking towards any unrealistic pitch. In one of the show's episodes in the earlier season, we spotted an entrepreneur stating about one such unrealistic approaches towards weight loss. In a video shared by the show's makers on Sony Television’s official Instagram handle, the pitcher was of the opinion that their clients had given up on their previous diet charts and restarted it after opting for their product.

However, her pitch didn’t go well with Namita Thapar. She had bashed the entrepreneur and her business plan that makes people lose weight without doing any sort of physical exercise. Namita admitted that it is fundamentally wrong and admitted that weight loss completely depends on a person’s lifestyle.
