It was on February 10, 2019, when Mohena Kumari Singh had announced that she is all taken. As excited and happy as we were for her (read heartbroken for guys), the soon-to-be-wedded gorgeousness had her intimate Goan engagement and looked breathtakingly awesome! And today, October 13, 2019, Mohena Kumari Singh looked like a fresh breeze of spring in a green sharara which she complemented with a pink pallu drawn over her head for her mehendi ceremony. Her dress was simple yet gorgeous in every sense but it was her royal jewellery that had grabbed all our attention. Her Rajwari nath, heavy earrings and maang teeka were absolutely stunning. And not to mention, the terrific upward curve on her face that rested there throughout the day as she posed with her friends and family for clicks with her hand and feet adorned with henna! For the uninitiated, Mohena Kumari Singh’s marriage is extremely special for her family as it is after 100 years that a princess is getting married in the royal family of Rewa! Revealing details about her wedding, Mohena had stated in an interview, “The sangeet is on October 13 and the wedding will take place on October 14 in Haridwar. A reception and my vidaai will take place on November 9 and 10 in Rewa.” And now, quite like you, we can’t wait for the wedding that is to take place tomorrow! All Mohena Kumari Singh fans, don’t you want to know about how she and her soon-to-be-hubby, Suyesh Rawat met? Revealing that it is an arranged marriage, the 30-year-old beauty had said, “My brother told his brother about me. The families liked each other and here we are. I have always wanted an arranged marriage. I would have never got married to someone in the industry, as I don’t think that I would have found a like-minded person.”
Further praising ‘her one’, Suyesh Rawat, Mohena Kumari Singh had stated, “He is very honest and never puts up an act. We always have deep and meaningful conversations. What strengthens our bond is our love for mountains, animals and the fact that we are both vegetarians.” Speaking about enjoying the best of both worlds, Mohena had continued, “I have always lived a dual life — one in Mumbai and the other in Rewa, but I enjoyed both worlds.”
Mohena Kumari Singh had further shared, “I have got immense support from the Rewa royal family, as everyone is artistically inclined. However, it was only me who pursued it professionally and since I have broken some rules, I call myself the rogue princess (laughs!). During my time in Mumbai, I have had maharanis texting me, saying that they are proud of me.
