India witnessed a remarkable day as Ram Lalla's Pran Pratishtha ceremony was held in Ayodhya. It was a dream of millions of Indians over 500 years to witness Ram's temple being constructed in his janambhoomi, Ayodhya. We are the lucky ones, who witnessed the momentous day. However, not many know that the day arrived due to the excellent work of then-91-year-old senior lawyer, Keshav Parasaran, who represented Ram Lalla in the Supreme Court.
Keshav Parasaran is the man, who made Ram Lalla's return to Ayodhya possible. He is a senior Supreme Court lawyer and former Attorney General of India. He is the one who fought on behalf of Lord Ram in the Ayodhya land dispute case for the Hindu parties. Parasaran was born in Srigrangam, Tamil Nadu in 1927 to a religious Hindu family. His father, Kesava Aiyenger was a Vedic scholar and a lawyer. According to reports, his three sons, Mohan, Satish, and Balaji, are also lawyers.

Keshav Parasaran is also famously known as the Pitamah of the Indian bar in legal circles. He earned the title because of the way he incites verses from Hindu scriptures to back up his arguments in the courts. After almost a decade-long career, in his eighties, K Parasaran decided to follow his spiritual path.
Keshav Parasaran is one of the notable names whenever we talk about the legal battle of Ram Janambhumi. In November 2019, history was created with the iconic verdict on the Ayodhya dispute, which was delivered by a five-judge bench consisting of Justices Ashok Bhushan, SA Bobde, CJI Ranjan Gogoi, DY Chandrachud, and S Abdul Nazeer.
It was in 2019 when Keshav Parasaran was given the role of presenting his case on behalf of Lord Ram. Whenever he made an appearance in the court, he entered barefooted and refused to sit down as a testament to his deep devotion towards Lord Ram. His belief added a spiritual touch to the case as he stated that he could not sit while representing Lord Ram.
K Parasaran challenged the claims of opposite parties by stating that there are multiple mosques available for Muslims in Ayodhya. He further challenged the opposite parties by stating, 'Once a temple, always a temple.' During a media interaction, Parasaran stated that the argument he delivered during the case was all because of his deep love for Lord Ram.
For the unversed, K Parasaran has been awarded with Padma Bhushan in 2003 and Padma Vibhushan in 2011. As Ram Lalla arrived in his full glory in Ayodhya, a huge credit for the same goes to Parasaran, who changed the history books and made the Hindu religion a history and no longer a subject of mythology.
