Popular influencer, Manisha Rani grabbed much attention with her appearance in the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. Following this, the diva also joined the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11 as a wild card contestant and won the same. Thus, Manisha has been riding high in her career right now. But for the uninitiated, when Manisha was 12 years old, she developed an interest in the acting and dancing field. However, as she hailed from a small place in Bihar, she was straightaway denied by her father. After a few years, she finally decided to escape from her home by leaving a letter behind. Now, she is making a huge name in the industry. 

Manisha Rani opens up about her horrifying casting couch experience

However, as many newcomers face problems in the initial years of their journey in the world of glam and glitz, Manisha Rani too, had experienced a few of them. Now, in a candid conversation, she opened up about her horrifying casting couch experience. In an interview with Galatta India, Manisha revealed that at the beginning of her career, she didn't have any knowledge about the nitty-gritty of the industry. Thus, when she had gone to her hometown for a few days at that time, an anonymous guy, claiming to be from the Bigg Boss team, had called. Manisha mentioned that she had earlier shared her dance videos with him. Thus, she immediately rushed back to Mumbai. She said:

“Hum ek baar Bihar mein the toh us time, specially jab hum ghar gaye the 4-5 din k liye, lekin wo humko uss time phone kiya ki tumko Colors pe nahi jaana, tumko Bigg Boss nahi karna, ghar jaa ke baith gayi, tum abhi aa jao Mumbai. Uske liye hum specially ticket kar ke Mumbai aaye ki mera toh Bigg Boss hone wala hai.”

According to Manisha, the same person had also promised her to take to the Colors office and finalise the Bigg Boss deal. But when she returned to Mumbai, the same person called her at around 3 am one night. That anonymous person had even asked her to visit his house immediately, which made Manisha feel a bit uncomfortable. Thus, she denied his demands and disconnected the call. However, that incident left a big impact on Manisha's life as at that time, nobody was even there to help her. She concluded:

“Ek baar 3 baje raat ko phone karke bolta hai ki aa jao mere ghar. Toh hum bole ki hum ghar toh nahi aayenge. Agar aap mein talent hai toh, ho hi jaata hai.”

Manisha Rani became a proud owner of a property in her hometown, Bihar

Earlier, taking to her YouTube vlog, Manisha shared glimpses after she bought a property in Bihar. In the video, the actress was seen heading toward the place along with her close ones. Moreover, she revealed that all the official work has been done on the property, and she is the owner of 2 Kattha land in her hometown. She then gave a virtual tour of her property and mentioned that the house will be made in the same place within a few months. Expressing her joy over her achievement, Manisha was heard saying:

"Finally aapki Manisha Rani ne Bihar mein property kharid li hai. Bahot jaldi ghar bhi banega. Maine 2.5 kattha zameen kharidi hai, crorepati ban gayi hu. Ye toh abhi shuruwat hai bas. Hume khushi itni hai ki hum bata nahi sakte hai abhi."

Manisha Rani's huge earning from the two reality shows

Earlier, on March 3, 2024, the wildcard contestant, Manisha Rani was announced as the winner of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11. Besides winning the trophy, Manisha received Rs. 30 lakh cash prize, while her choreographer, Ashutosh Pawar got Rs. 10 lakh. Ahead of this, she had won the second-runner up stand in the show, Bigg Boss OTT 2. Thus, for the same, if reports are to believed, Manisha got Rs. 25,000 per episode, making it a total of Rs. 8.75 lakh. Another report by The Statesman revealed that she bagged a whopping amount of Rs. 5 lakh for securing the 2nd runner-up position in the show.
