Every girl grows up listening to the 'one day you have to get married, leave your house and start a new life with your husband and in-laws' statement. And since then, they begin to plan how would they look on the day of their big event. Nowadays, every girl wants to become a designer bride, and for that, they search every fashion designer's website and their social media handles to figure out whose couture will fit them.
Even though modern brides love to experiment with colours and patterns of embroidery and play with the uniqueness of their looks, some brides still follow the age-old traditional laal shaadi ka joda look. And we came across a bride who opted for such a look and owned it like a diva. She chose an ensemble from the renowned fashion designer, Manisha Malhotra's shelves.
Esha Kukreja turned into a beautiful bride as she had donned a tomato red-coloured lehenga choli from Manish Malhotra's collection. The outfit had featured intricate embroidery all over it with silver thread, sequins and zari, along with a gota patti detailing at the border. She had paired the lehenga with a choli that had a deep square neckline with a unique embroidery pattern, and a heavily embellished dupatta was tucked on her shoulder. Esha had completed her look with another red-coloured sheer long veil that was pinned on her head which gave an Indian princess vibe.
To add a little bit of colour to her look, the bride, Esha had opted for polki jewellery with big diamond chunks along with emerald stones. She had worn a broad choker, matching earrings, a maang teeka and pearl string attached passa. She had further accessorised her whole look with red chooda and heart-shaped bunch kaleere.
Esha Kukreja had opted for a toned-down makeover as she was wearing such a gorgeous Manish Malhotra couture. She had accentuated her look with a light foundation, defined brows, brown smokey eyes, mascara-laden lashes and nude brown lip shade. She had tied her hair in a sleek bun and had looked like a million-dollar. On the other hand, her groom, Akshay Mehra had worn Tarun Tahiliani's beige-coloured self-embroidered sherwani suit and had complimented his bride looking dapper.
Esha Kukreja had kept her mehendi look subtle in a Benarasi textured magenta-coloured sharara suit which she had paired with a neckpiece, half chandbalis and a maang teeka. She had posed for fun photos adorning her hands with henna. Esha had completed her look with minimal makeup and had kept her tresses open. On the other hand, her groom, Akshay had looked handsome in a blue-coloured kurta with a multi-coloured printed shawl.
Esha and Akshay had looked stunning at the engagement ceremony as they had worn Manish Malhotra ensembles. While the bride had opted for a pastel pink-coloured sequinned lehenga choli, her groom had worn an off-white short blazer with trousers. Esha had completed her look with a puffed hairstyle, sleek diamond jewellery, including a necklace, matching earrings and subtle makeup.
