Kkusum couple, Manasi Joshi and Rohit Roy are considered to be one of the most adorable couples in the television industry. The epitome of fairytale romance, Manasi and Rohit share a unique old-school love story. For the unversed, back in the time when Rohit was working as an assistant director at Kunal Kapoor’s office, he came across a photo of Manasi and was left awestruck by her. Later, the duo met and hit it off. Manasi and Rohit tied the knot in 1999, and they are the parents of their daughter, Kiara. However, recently Manasi walked down memory lane and recalled their dating period, which is unmissable.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Manasi Joshi bared her heart out as she revealed her dating deets with Rohit Roy. The actress shared that when she first met Rohit, she was working as a model, whereas Rohit was an assistant director. Manasi mentioned that she got a call from Rohit and got to know that Kunal Kapoor wanted to cast her.

However, talking more about the same, Manasi stated that she and her hubby gradually started meeting each other through common friends, and they instantly hit it off. Manasi also mentioned that within just ten days of their meeting, she and Rohit started dating, and after seven years, it was she who initiated the proposal. Manasi mentioned:
"Rohit and I met when I was a model, I had just started modeling and Rohit was working as an assistant with Kunal Kapoor. He used to make ad films and that’s when we both met. Rohit had called me up and they had seen my pictures and wanted to cast me for something. That’s how our first meeting happened and gradually we met again through our common friend and we instantly hit it off and we started dating. Literally, within 10 days of meeting, we started dating each other. After 7 years, I proposed to him.“
Going forward in the interview, Manasi Joshi stated that back in the time when she initiated the proposal, she and Rohit were on the verge of completing seven years of their relationship. Manasi mentioned that all of their family members knew that these two would get married, but they had no idea about when it would take place. Talking more about the same, Manasi stated that one day, she asked Rohit when they should get married, and the actor instantly decided that it was the perfect time for them to get married, and thus, they discussed the same with their families. Elaborating more on the same, Manasi stated:
"Because we had been in a relationship for seven years, it was foregone that these two are getting married. Our families also knew it. The only thing nobody knew was ke kab karenge. So one day, I casually told Rohit like when are we getting married. Should we do it now? We will finish seven years in May, shall we do it? He was like okay let’s do that. So I went home after our conversation and he told his mom. And then I said ‘I think I should also tell my mom.’ So I told my mom and I said that we are thinking and they were like how are we going to do this!”

On the completion of their 25 years of knowing each other, Rohit Roy penned a long caption for the love of his life, Manasi Joshi. In his note, he showered love upon his wifey and even revealed their school story. The actor even recalled how they first met at a restaurant called Shiv Sagar. He further added that the 2 hours from their first day were enough to determine how they would spend the rest of their lives. Rohit also added that Manasi took over his life in every aspect without him even realising it, and even after 25 years of their meeting, his world still starts and ends with her.
