Malaika was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan and shares a son, Arhaan Khan, with him. And after parting ways with Arbaaz, the diva fell in love with Arjun Kapoor, leaving many people surprised.
On January 5, 2024, Malaika Arora took to her IG stories and shared a cryptic post. The actress took a dig at people who shame her for taking care of herself and strongly reacted to the trolls. It was a quote from an Insta page, vexking, which Malaika reshared on her feed. Her note can be read as:
"I'm not drinking. I'm staying in. I don't want dessert. I'm having an early night. I'm hitting the gym in the morning. These phrases are often met with disappointment or a snarky comment about you being boring or old. Let's stop shaming people for taking care of themselves."

According to a report in Bollywood Life, it is stated that Malaika and Arjun were on a short break only to reconcile soon after. The couple decided to call it quits a few months ago, as they were facing some serious conflicts in their relationship. However, soon their love for each other prevailed, making them realise that they couldn't live separately for long. Moreover, the reason behind their break-up was that while one of them wanted to take their relationship to the next level by getting married, the other was not sure about the same.
As Malaika Arora appeared on the famous dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 13, she sat down in a conversation with Farah Khan. When the producer asked Malaika about the possibility of seeing her tying the knot in 2024, the latter gave an interesting answer. She said:
"Agar koi hai toh usse main shaadi karungi. Koi bhi poochega to main shaadi karlungi."
Malaika Arora's answer grabbed many eyeballs, and netizens started speculating about her and Arjun Kapoor's breakup. While some netizens questioned whether she is still dating Arjun, others speculated about their alleged broken relationship. Meanwhile, a section of netizens also claimed that since the couple has been in a live-in relationship, they should tie the knot now.

Earlier, in an interview with The Times Of India, Malaika Arora opened up about her break-up rumours with Arjun Kapoor for the first time. Reacting to the same, she shared that she doesn't want to discuss her personal life on a public platform. Malaika added that she is at a stage in life, wherein she doesn't need to clarify anything. She said:
"I don’t want to discuss my personal space as of now, and I am at that stage where I have spoken when I had to speak. I don’t need to clarify anything because whatever has to be said has already been said."
