Mahira Khan has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her impeccable and versatile performances in various projects. Mahira said ‘Qubool hai’ for the second time in her life to a Pakistani businessman, Salim Karim. The two got hitched in a low-key and minimalistic ceremony in October 2023. Recently, a netizen shared a post on the discussion platform, Reddit, claiming that Mahira Khan might be pregnant with her second child. The user mentioned that as per their close source, the actress has opted out of two of her esteemed projects, one is Netflix’s Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo and another unnamed film. The post also mentioned that Mahira and Salim may or may not announce this happy news to the public. The user also divulged that she might be due sometime in August-September 2024. The post can be read as:
“So, I got this news from a close source that she opted out of the esteemed Netflix project alongside a big film as she's expecting her second child somewhere in August or September. An announcement could be made soon or not if she chooses to announce it after birth but as she's a big celeb and can't keep it lowkey for long, I personally feel that she will announce.”
As soon as the post was dropped in the discussion platform, Reddit, netizens rushed to the comment section to congratulate the couple, Mahira and Salim. They expressed their heartfelt wishes for the Pakistani diva. One user wrote, “I hope this is true!! That would be lovely.” Another one said, “Happy for Mahira and Salim if true!” A third comment can be read as “I think she happily opted out. So let's congrats for her.”

In an interaction with the FWhy podcast, Mahira Khan revealed her relationship with her ex-husband, Ali Askari, and their son, Azlan’s relationship with the latter’s present family. Despite parting ways in 2015, Ali and Mahira’s bond never soured, and both have respectfully accepted each other’s new families. During the conversation, Mahira said to the host that Azlan loves Ali’s son from his second marriage. She also said that her ex-husband has married one of the loveliest women.
