Ending January on a perfect note, Sakshi Singh Dhoni and Mahendra Singh Dhoni had attended the bridal shower of their friend, Priiyanshu Chopraa and the star-wife had given glimpses of the same through her IG handle. Sakshi had posted a picture with the bride-to-be, who opted for a casual high-neck sleeveless top paired with denim, and her look was completed with a sash and tiara. Sakshi, who had opted for a floral ruffled dress, also posted a goofy yet lovely picture with Dhoni which was photobombed by Rishabh Pant. As Dhoni was clicking a selfie with Sakshi, Rishabh, who was standing behind them, looked in aww of the couple.
Finally, the ‘I Do’ day arrived on February 15, 2021, as Priiyanshu Chopraa and Puneet Gupta were pronounced husband and wife in a traditional wedding ceremony. Sakshi has been sharing pictures from the wedding ceremonies on her IG handle and we cannot stop gushing over how gorgeous she had looked at every function. For the mehendi ceremony, Sakshi opted for a ruffled off-shoulder crop top with matching skirt by Divya Reddy and for the main day, she picked a shimmery baby pink lehenga which was accentuated with contrasting jewellery and her million-dollar smile. Mahendra Singh Dhoni perfectly complemented Sakshi in a peach kurta with matching embroidered jacket. A video of Sakshi and Dhoni emerged on social media which is apparently from Priiyanshu and Puneet’s wedding reception. In the video, Sakshi and Dhoni stole our hearts as they grooved on Naah Goriye.
It was on November 19, 2020, when Sakshi Singh Dhoni had celebrated her 32nd birthday with her hubby, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and their friends including Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik, Anam Mirza and Arpita Khan Sharma in Dubai. Arpita posted an IG story to wish Sakshi on her birthday and had shared a lovely picture from the celebrations. Sakshi had reposted the story on her IG handle and thanked Arpita for coming. Sakshi Singh Dhoni had ringed in her birthday in Dubai with her birthday twin and friend, Kabir Bahia and their huge cakes had stolen the limelight. In a picture shared by Sakshi on her IG stories, she could be seen feeding the birthday cake to Kabir and her daughter, Ziva Singh Dhoni had stood by her side with the background of golden and black balloons. Matching the theme of the bash, Sakshi had looked gorgeous in a glittery outfit. Later, Sakshi had posted a much-in-love picture with hubby, Mahendra Singh Dhoni from her next day’s birthday celebration. Sakshi had captioned it with an array of hearts.
Sakshi Singh Dhoni leaves no chance to impress us with her sartorial picks and she always makes heads turn with her exceedingly relatable style sensibility. Speaking of her relationship with fashion in an interview with the Vogue, Sakshi had said, “When it comes to deciding on colour palettes and prints, I am always inspired by nature. And I love wearing florals. At home, I am usually dressed in mulmul fabric and organic cottons. If I were to edit my wardrobe, I would let go of a few pairs of leggings and denims. I usually prefer pieces that are not only versatile, but also timeless.” When asked a tried-and-true beauty recipe that she inherited from her mother, Sakshi had retorted, “A homemade pack, which is a mixture of glycerin and lime.
